Let's do the sandwich =D

I've become more excited the more I look into this game. It looks really well done, graphically, and although I haven't experienced it, it has some pretty "neat" physics, lol. I would love to get a chance into the CBT and give some extremely detailed opinions toward the game.

Everything now-a-day seems like some cookie cutter MMO with open world or instances and has no uniqueness. Scarlet (Queen's) Blade's PvE doesn't seem all that impressive. I haven't played the game and I'm not one to make assumptions, but the combat just looks like: Go up to mob, hit 1~9, kill mob, next... Why are there no dodge mechanics (that I might not know)? Why are the mobs not more aggressive and attack 1 time per 5~10 seconds? This is, unfortunately, my negative opinion towards this MMO. It has generically boring PvE...

I gotta say I'm a graphics wh0re when it comes to games, and I love the artwork & style used for Scarlet Blade. The areas seem so unique and the character customization is crazyyyyyyy. Cosmetics are one of the best aspects of games, and this game has some awesome character designs.

I can't say much, again, because I haven't played the story or heard/read about it... but I hope it's a good one that, like some players say, "submerges you into the life of your character." IMO, the combat and all can be overlooked with an amazing story.
I also want to see & hear more about the PvP. I don't know any of the mechanics and there is not enough information/videos out there for me to find anything ;-;

Can't wait to try whipper~

i will surely like a more entertaining story something that can grab a player attention. dungeon sets gear or a craftable sets can make it better to grind places and worth getting. it clearly need more gold quest or higher money drops on mobs since i temp to have no money

Scarlets Blade first impression

Scarlets Blade first impression
Scarlets balde was a good game if i could mark it it will be 8/10 because of the amazing graphics of the maps and players the smooth battle skills that dont freeze your screen or lag you the many Modification u could do to your player too many custumaization that was too good for me.
Something that i didnt like was the easy drop system of mats for+7 to +10 was so easy i had like 20x from wars and drops and the SLOW exp rate it would be good if it will be a little fast and the money u get are fast and easy i could make a guild from lvl 12 :/ kind of stupid i think.
About the PVP and war only one thing...THE BEST PVP GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED!Real good PVPs and Duels i thing this game desurve to be launched. (Y)
One thing that i would like the game to have More bikes or mount to ride. And for all this rezone i give it a 8/10 because it a good game poeple sould try it that my opinion Wink

SB Impression so far

I'm really enjoying the game. The pvp is really intresting and that makes me wanna play even more. I didn't like pet system so far, although i'm new to it. If the pet could help you other way, as healing you or damaging enemies it would be more userful than just provide aura.
Also, each puzzle draws my attention and makes me wonder what would be the next photo. And that push me to play more. It's a quite funny way to replace achievements, although it would be good there were some.
Well, overall i'd rate this game as a 9 Smile.

I'm honestly just interested in seeing what comes beyond level 29. Big bosses raids and such are what I'm most looking forward to. For me it's not so much about the features as it is the content, feaures can always xome later but a lack of content can kill a game stone dead. I recall back to my uni days where an estimate of how much content should exist was 6 months worth (for the average player).

The bad parts is having no clue what enemy drops what, after playing EE for so long it was helpful to know what dropped from a simple button press. Also, all the item improvements are a little lacking in documentation. Might be because I skipped the text in the quests that had you speak to npcs, but I have no idea what npc does what, and what the ramifications are for using their services. Some web guide outlining every aspect of item enhancement or improvement would be much appreciated!

I suggest reading their text when you get their quests instead of mashing 'skip' like a fat kid whacking the buttons on a candy machine. They sort of explain what they do, how to do it etc. Useful stuff that.

Reading, not candy machines.

I haven't played through the whole game, but here's some quality-of-life changes that I would like to see. For one, when we link an item in chat, we should also see the icon along with it. Also, the automatic quest-moving-thing is quite clunky in areas that are below or above the original movement line (for example, when you fall down a cliff and your character just keeps on attacking the cliff with her face when you click the quest again).
The biggest problem that I have with the game is probably the questing system. You have to figure somehow to make the story actually appealing to players! For example, when I play games such as GW2, Mabinogi, Vindictus, or Skyrim, I'm actually interested in the story because its not simply explained through a chatbox (well, Vindictus does, but the atmosphere that the characters bring when they are telling the story makes it better). When the whole story is told just through a chatbox, many people won't even bother reading it! For example, I don't even know what I am doing in Forsaken World, Dragona, or Atlantica Online. They just hit me with a wall of text and a little note to kill monsters all the time. Scarlet Blade's story is interesting and funny, but the way it is told is definitely plain.

I'm really enjoying it so far.

Good:
+ The gfx are very nice and the character models are beautiful!
+ Artistic style is lovely. I for one love the sexy characters in their skimpy costumes.
+ The story so far has been pretty good. Interesting enough to keep me from skipping straight through it, anyway.
+ Combat is okay. Nothing revolutionary here but its fun.

Bad:
- Quests are ALL go here kill X amount of Y. It's an mmo staple but it is still kinda dull.
- Grind!!! Once you get to around lvl17, you are forced to grind the remaining xp to level as the quest xp isn't enough to carry you through.
- Some of the voice acting is kinda low quality and some of the voices don't fit the person (Idel, I'm looking at you)
- Would like more variations in armour. We all look the same Sad

I could say that I expected more graphics quality wise, if it was so, I wouldn't be able to play, so that point is moot.

I wish I could make a costume look like a different one, for example, I'd like for Whipper lvl 15 outfit to look like lvl5 one.

You can do this!

It's called Grafting and is done with the NPC Cosmetolgist in Bitterstone Base (in Mereholt). You can keep the stats of the upgraded stat gear you just got but put it on the gear you like the look of more. Very Happy
