It says to just to stand near the waterfall that's near the cave, but I did that and it didn't work. Please tell me if you know where to be. Thank you to those how suggested something.

Hi (: I believe you're referencing the Level 15 "Spring of Yearning" quest. NPC Francis gave you an item, it should be in your backpack- "Empty Bottle." The instructions read to go to the location to the right of Prairie Cave. If you stand around map co-ordinates x249, y695, you should be able to right-click the bottle to complete it. ^.^
