Would any combination of head + body costumes gives the costume set bonus?

"Set bonus" I doubt it would. It would just probably give piece bonus for each one that you wear on your char.

Actually, i asked a guy in-game who wears a different set of head and body costume.

And he confirmed that he got the set bonus. so basically, any costume of body + head would gives the bonus.

When you hover over either piece of your costume, it will say if it's a set bonus or not. Also, I believe if it's a set, both names will be highlighted (green?), but don't quote me on this.. just seems right from memory ^^
