Was 'K-Style' intended by Maiet at all ?

I've heard this over and over again that they intended the game to be played 'e-style', rolling around shooting, pulling out sword and slashing then dashing away etc, generally staying on the ground, but is that true ? surely when they were coding the game they would have realized that you could dash while jumping, slash while dashing, block just after slashing etc, or at least why they first tested the game out they would have tried things like jump-dash-slash, or slash-block, repeat ? then they would have seen that even that could lead to a different kind of play style ( not saying they would have discovered bf or ss ).

when MAIET made gunz, it was intended for Myth-style or as you know it: m-style

it matters because people say its a glitch it shouldn't be in the game ( glitch sort of means that you are cheating ) where as I think its more of a feature which is caused by their radical approach to coding the game, its because they tried to do interesting things that these moves were able to be created.

In KGunZ beta the only "Kstyle" move was Slash-shot, it wasn't intended. In the beta, once people started to use it, MAIET loosened up the animations, being able to block during a slash for example, or cancelling a flip with a block. It was intended to make it more fast-paced.

Originally, you'd have to wait for the slash to end before you could block.

So, kind-of. Not what it turned into, but sort of the idea.

Take a look at GunZ 2 for MAIET's opinion on K Style.

You're welcome.

It was NEVER Maiet's intention to add different fighting styles.
It got developed by the community due to Maiet's poor coding.

As Like everyone said.
It Wasn't Really Maiets intention.
thats why in gunz 2 u cant do those cool tricks now.
Well the only reason why gunz was very popular was because of the tricks people made in the game.
but taking the huge portion off the game is what i call a rip off.
Gunz 2 may look fun but not as great as gunz the duel(original)
Well I'll be playing Gunz the duel instead of gunz 2 anyway lol

Yes. Technically all glitches are bannable. However, in most cases, it's only the severe glitches that are bannable such as infinite bosses or wall glitching.

MAIET's mistake of not thinking when coding or not properly testing the game made gunz into the game it is. Kstyle is what makes gunz worth playing, without it, this game would be boring as ****. I hope MAIET realises that in gunz 2, they should also make some sort of k style. Gunz 2 could be such an awesome game, plzzzzz dont ruin it Smile
