I read the Beginner thing and i asked ingame under Question with the beginner thing showed in tutorial but got no reply sadly. What exactly am I supposed to be doing after becoming a guard? Melee/Quests?

Sorry if this is under the wrong section I'm just a bit confused atm about the game and what I'm supposed to be doing

Do Novice Melee Matches, Melee Farms, and/or Quests until you reach 500 honor. Then take the Lt Colonel test. After that work on getting to 2000 honor (through Novice Melee Matches, Melee Farms, and/or Quests). Do not do the promotion test for Colonel, it will auto-promote you at 1500 honor. It's best to avoid the rank of Colonel for as long as possible. Once you reach Colonel you can still only use rank/level 3 weapons, but will no longer be able to participate in Novice Melees and will be stuck Melee Farming/Questing until you reach Field General (most people do not want Colonels on their team in Musou Melee Matches - sad, but true). Once you reach Field General, get yourself a nice rank 4 weapon and enjoy the game.

Basicly fighting the computer - not other players- in order to gain weapons, items and gear.

What faction are you in?

I joined Wei but I can really remake a character and join any faction. All i've really done was Rank S the first tutorial and did Guard Quest so maybe an hr total spent on game

I was just going to suggest that someone scoop you up and take you melee farming. It's easier in a party - and you get better stuff too.

I suggest you to find someone who can help you in your home faction or join mine, im not busy anyway

Just stand in one of the populated plazas and press Y, erase /say, and type: /shout LF Melee Farm

Do not spam this though. Just typing it maybe... once every 10 minutes should be sufficient.

If you can't find anyone, come to Shu. I see people all the time in the Market, shouting saying that they're looking for people to Melee Farm.

Shu is also more friendly to newcomers (for the most part anyway - every faction has rude people). Though Shu is certainly one of the weaker factions.

I would stay in Wei for now. If you decide you don't like it, try Wu or Shu.
