Hi, let me start off by saying that I've been playing wolfteam for years and have loved it. I quit a while back and recently started up again since I'm on holidays. The problem I'm having now is that I can't get the downloader to work properly. At first it said it can't install Akamai, so I google'd a bit and found one that said to independently install it, then run the downloader. So I did that and it went to the downloading stage but the problem was that it would only download for a second and then freeze like that. Now I have disabled both Windows Firewall and Windows Defender (and not using an antivirus right now). But I'm still getting these problems.

Hey, I'm not expert on this stuff but I experienced similar problems myself before.

It's very important that you delete any partial files you may have had on previous attempted downloads/installs. Do a search for wolfteam/akamai and make sure they're completely off your system before you attempt to re-download. From what I've seen the failure to install Akamai is usually a firewall/antivirus issue.

I also recently downloaded Wolfteam again on another computer and it froze at about 80%. I paused and played again a few times and it worked again. Not sure why it gets buggy, but I think it's ignite. It froze on some other games I was installing as well. Perhaps someone with more knowledge (or an alternate download mirror) can assist you better.

Unfortunately, I'm still experiencing the same problems. Here's a screenshot of what happens:



It freezes just like that (it looks like it's downloading but it's really not). If I pause/resume it just starts over from scratch and freezes in a similar way.

The best solution I can see for this is just to find an alternate mirror since my problem is with the downloader and not the game itself, but I've searched and most are too old so the links are broken.

Search your computer for any wolfteam files Or installs for wolfteam or akamai, Make sure there's none left on your system, Also try removing aeria ignite, Or downloading wolfteam from there, worked for me when i had you're problem

Sorry, but may I ask for a different mirror? Websites like Dropbox, Mediafire, etc. are blocked by my ISP. Might I suggest JumboFiles or something?

Hey, I'll try to get back to you with an upload to Jumbo at some time today. I'll edit it in to this post.

Edit: Unfortunately jumbofiles won't allow me to upload, do you know another site that works for you?

Ahh you need to make an account to upload to Jumbofiles in case that's why. If not, thanks for trying anyway I just know some sites (though I'm sure there's more sites out there that I don't know about)

Zippyshare They have a limit on the size per upload but I don't mind downloading in parts
Hotfile same as above
4shared not sure on their uploading policies
Box.com need to make an account

I made an account for it, but it wouldn't let me upload. I was reading that some of the sites block certain ISPs from uploading. xP Anyways, 4shared works fine, I'll have a link for you after I run some errands.
