We have no plans to remove Ignite or the loot box at this time. We are continually working on improving the program and any suggestions you may have to that end are encouraged.

I was reluctant to try Ignite because of all the negative posts I've seen on the forums. I gave in and downloaded it when the free loot box went Ignite exclusive. I have to say, it's no where near as bad as I've heard. I open Ignite, log in, hit the lootbox, then log out and close Ignite. It slows your computer down when you let it run in the background all the time.
That being said, the free loot box is the only advantage I've seen to having Ignite. I am curious as to what it's greater purpose is supposed to be beyond downloading the game clients. Updates and news are already displayed on the individual games' updaters.

Aeria Ignites don't slows you pc down...
You don't have to run the game by that and yoy don't have to taking gift boxes. lol

Secondly, Ignite was **** to use when it first came out. Until they updated it, I remember being locked out of my ignite for weeks.

Are you guys really so blind in your hubris that you can't see your customers are unhappy? Well, even MORE unhappy with the crap you put us through? You could AT LEAST make it to where we don't NEED Ignite to run the selected game we're playing. Ignite is a half downloaded version of the site with a crappy loot wheel that gives absolute ****. Nobody likes it. It's annoying and useless. Sorry, but I'm being blunt here, because apparently you guys don't listen unless SOMEBODY is.

Ignite is Aeria's "masterpiece". It isn't going anywhere any time soon. It would not surprise me if in the future it becomes into some kind of hackshield or punkbuster like program. For now I suggest people run the games executable(.exe) if possible.

Ignite actually helps me look at future events, instead of browsing the calendar. The loot wheel has given me decent amount of exp/cp boost. Ignite doesn't slow down my pc, luckily. Although it is lacking something. Perhaps I'd make a suggestion.

Ignite will never improve things. I really don't care if ya'll keep Ignite, but ya'll really need to put Free Loot Box back into item malls where they originally were, and don't make it to where you HAVE to have Ignite to download other games. Right now, I'm stuck with only one AGE game because I can't download other games AGE has to offer. Thanks a heap. -_-

I tried Ignite a little after it came out, and it came just shy of crashing my computer. It didn't work. I waited later when people said it improved and all I had was just a load screen and a locked up computer.

A lot of my friends can't get Ignite to even download therefore they can't re-download AGE games they once played. Inability to download games = inability to support AGE.

End result: Aeria Ignite does NOT work for everybody. You're cutting off half of your potential and current customers. It has to be optional, but features accessible through other means.
