All guns need SG09. Helps control moveshot bloom and increase moveshot accuracy.
MP5SD5/MP7: BB, MI, Erg
Only way to set this up so it'll have good DPS without being a bloom cannon.
AKs74u: BB, Ergo, Cust.
Oddly enough, the BB and Cust put together gives it rapid bloom recovery.
SR2M: BB, Ergo, Mag.
This setup has good DPS and all-around flexibility. The ergo grip has higher recoil and less bloom than the silicon setup, making it more difficult to use but far more effective at longer ranges.
K1A1: BB, Precision.
This setup is a great balance between DPS and accuracy, making it an effective all-around weapon that maintains CQC DPS and medium range burstability.
SG556: LRBII, Proto grip. RCS is optional but increases horizontal recoil.
This setup minimizes moveshot bloom and makes it strafable. Both triggers are not recommended because they decrease its nonexistent recoil, increase its horizontal recoil/bloom, and take away something valuable. Aced with this 3 times in match today.
Para: Spets, Ergo, RCS.
This setup is regarded as the weakest setup on the Para with the worst side-to-side recoil. The truth is that spets is mere damage points away from LRB's damage, and RB's +3 damage makes extremely minor differences (ie. raises OHHS range from 33 to 34 or w/e). The RCS's horizontal recoil is no problem when strafing considering the bloom is a worse problem that the spets-rcs combination helps to abate. Not only does this setup have one of the highest DPSs of setups, it has the lowest recoil and the lowest bloom as well. It is a little more difficult to tap than RB though
M16: Shock absorber
This makes the M16 a strafe laser. Perfect for headshots.
Sako: LRB, WG, RCS.
The Sako has some of the worst damage retention over range of all rifles, so the LRB is necessary. It does have the most severe horizontal recoil with WG and RCS, but it makes the crouch shot much more effective while hardly affecting CQC performance. It should be used while crouching most of the times anyways.
Famas G2: laser, Dot, Custom trig, HG, CRS
Makes it noticeably stable when crouching.
RX4: Mech Imp
It lacks in the DPS department. Doesn't need any more accuracy.
The SS adds a lot of accuracy and gives it great strafeshot.
M4A1: Laser II, BBII, Trigger, Proto, RCS.
This is an unconventional setup, not recommended. It fits my playstyle of strafing and rapidly bursting in 2-3s. When I don't feel like a BBII, I just use Laser-LRBII-Trig-Proto-RCS and use bursts of 1-2.
DSR: QSII, LRBII.
The only way to set up the DSR.
M93Ra: LRB, Ergo, Mech Imp
Increases its bad range damage and supplements its lacking ROF.
