well you must have not seen that shu girl "Lily" who made it to support general in a week by playing straight defeat all day.  

you are too worried about the "individual benifits". Confront is for those who do not care about others out of their small circle. Campaign is a faction wide fight. Therefore you cannot try to compare, when the two are on opposite poles.

Bro, CP is an important event in ANY online game. I just want to know its role in DWO. Does it hurt?

Do they announce Melee or any other thing, man? No. But CP seems to be a special event, right? So what?

But I'm unable to do so regarding DWO. It's only this I want, don't try to change the subject; just say you don't know. Don't try to create things to make DWO CP look useful, cuz it's proved it's not and doesn't have any sense.

I know you love the game and such, but dont feel bad if the CP mode is nonsense, man. hickknight might love the game as well, but he's pretty aware of the flaws. You just don't want to admit. Next time, say something regarding the topic, ok? You guys always have a way to mislead threads, it's impressive.

Come to Shu when it does not have cities. You'll be amazed at the difference it makes at the merchant for example. And not everybody has the AP to make up for the difference.

You are asking a question, you get the correct answer (that being campaign is the game mode that ushers in new scenarios and defines those scenarios)

but then say that the correct answer is not the answer you want.


just think about it... when someone is talking about what happened in a past scenario,,, they are either relieving their own glory days... or are saying who was powerful in taking over cities, who was the worst, and who won the unification victory in the end. everything else is mere social talk.  

Okay, I don't really care if you assume CP is useless or not. It exists and I don't believe Koei will remove it.

However, it is supposed to simulate a "war" between the factions because history is the core concept of this particular game.

But I rather think of it as a chance to play against friends and others who I rarely don't play against in these modes. (I think we fought in CP in once. It was fun (: )

Compared to regular melee, it's a bit more formal to parallel the actual history part though.

Yes, even though alt farmers can ruin the fun, but we ruin the fun for ourselves stressing over streaks and whining over our faction losing. Cheaters can ruin a battle, but there are other battles to play.

As Pulsar said, the purpose is to have fun in if we want it to be fun.  

5 pages already and nobody has told me the utility of CP.

Ohh well, I'm starting to guess that you all play and don't even know the purpose of this mode. Nobody is able to explain, but change subjects. Even if this thread is mislead, I'll make another to get the answer. (:
