The new 5 star - Reen

stat comparison
So to those of you who are curious, the new Reen 5 star looks to be a cross between Aeroller and Kazeno. I don't know about you but it's tough for me to gauge the power of a Magi from base stats alone. So here are some level 41 comparisons for you.

As you can see, it's very fast and it has a bonus of flying which is a substantial bonus. It does however lose out on physical power to both Hawkail and Kazeno. Usually, Kazeno teams lack any supporting magi, you can be the judge whether this one is worthy of that spot.

Code:

Reen
Turn: 3   HP: 350
Target: 200
Fly
Heal: 50

Aeroller
Turn: 4   HP: 350
Heal: 150
Fly
Shoot Down: 50

Kazeno
Turn: 3   HP: 400
Target: 250
Jump
Feint

Hawkail
Turn: 4   HP: 400
Fight: 150
Fight: 150
Fly

The fact that Reen is a turn 3 monster makes it a staple for any wind-based team. Target is also a physical attack so it increases the chance you can defeat your opponent via reducing their life to 0 instead of killing their Magimon.

*Edit: I re-read that you said Kazeno is a turn 3 Magimon. I thought it was turn 5 based on the news page of the Hideout Battle (3rd Battle).

In that case, Kazeno and Reen are both very dreamy :3

i saw that... which is strange. Kazeno used to be Rarity 5 turn 3. So unless they nerfed him recently... I'll try to pay attention next time i see one.

Every time a magimon has a heal ability, the life points always seems so low comparatively. At least reen has target, so it somewhat balances the low life points for a level 5 magimon. I wish shoot down could have attacked the trainer directly too, but i guess that would be asking too much

What?! More powerful monsters for fire users, tsk tsk, like they dont have enough. I hate the fact that magic surge can be used in every speed, but attacks like pandemic, lightning, poisonous etc etc are one time use only. I say attacks or defenses that target multiple magimons in one round can either all be used once OR as long the corresponding magimons are still alive. Make it consistent 😒😝
