With the HORRIBLE droprates of late, here's a petition to the GMs to NOT unpatch the X-mas buff that boosts droprates. Drophunting is actually fun again for the not so diehard grinders.

A better suggestion would be to raise the drop rate for Trum and Eggy.From experience xmas buff doesn't increase the chance for these two areas.

It doesn't? It seems to be doing it everywhere else.

Agreed. But I also think there are numerous other areas where the drop rates should be increased. There's actually very few areas that don't need a drop rate increase, imo.

And the other factor are the drop tables themselves. They're a complete mess full of worthless and outdated items and need to actually be worked on and cleaned up. Unfortunately, that's asking a lazy developer to actually do some work on their game, and the greedy suits at Aeria making the decisions to do something beneficial for the community. The Xmas buff is nice, but it's almost pointless when additional items like the Santa fragments and tree decorations are added to the drop table mess.

But, until the majority of people decide to stop buying drop boosters to somewhat counter these ridiculous drop rates and drop tables, and Aeria stops generating revenue from selling them, nothing will change. "Petitions" like this are just laughed at by Aeria and Barunson.

I agree.

I don't always drop hunt but when I do I prefer xmas cheer.

I got xmas cheer on my rogue, then went grinding. Had to make 3 'pit stops' back in town to clear my inv, and she has the least full inv of all of my toons (bag 3 half-full, bag 4 empty) !!

Like the idea of having a perma xmas drop buff year-round, that would generate some income (gold), though I can imagine some of the arguments against !!

Just out of interest, xmas decorations look nice on the tree, but do we gain any actual benefit from collecting them and taking them to the tree ?? I only ask cos they keep filling up my witch's inv, and I either have to go all the way back to Juno, or just dump 'em in the bin to save time. Some advice here would be most welcome !!

I will chirp in for better drop rate or year round drop boost buff..... drops are horrible these days.

The christmas decorations buff the christmas tree. After maintenence last week the tree didnt give any buff, then after enough decorations it gave a 30 min buff..45 min buff and an hour long buff fully loaded.

Yeah Marty, i'll sign in on that one, makes so much more fun to grind and make pit stops at NPC and all! I certainly like the idea!

Come on GMs, it mustn't be 4x drop rate, but atleast 2x or so xD
