Getting a fail message when trying to start Gunz.
"The instructions in 0x00413476 referenced memory at address 0x00000004. The memory could not be read."

Is the message I get up. Anyone knows what it is? :/

first things first are you on windows 8? second is that are you direct 8 divers update to date and if your on windows 8 you ant run GunZ without downgrading, and if you have your direct x up to date then try go into your c drive> Areiagames> GunZ> locate the file Config and delete it it will re build its self when you next start gunz let me know what happends and if your problems are fixed.

You're going to have to partition your hard drive / downgrade to windows 7 to play since gunz is not compatible at the moment with windows 8.

he mean you will have to split your hard drive into a bootable storage for windows 7/vista/xp so you can run and play gunz there, windows 8 now home screen likes to programs in the background and gunz has not been allocated with windows 8 as of yet, so you will find most unallocated games not to work with windows 8, you will just have to downgrade / wait for a patch( not recommended it could take years.)
hope i have been helpful, if you found it helpful can you give me a rating on my profile would mean so much,
thank you

I have the same error too - it occurs after when the game itself loads - but it is unable to get to the actual main menu. Idk what to do.... Hopifully I might see a patch - but there is no fix for this Windows 8 error.
