Are you trying to start the game by avoiding the Aeria Ignite or vice versa?
The file you are opening the wrong file I believe. Go inside the game folder by right clicking and Choose Propieties>Find Target Location if XP or newer versions would be Right Click>Properties>Open File Location.
instead you will see TWO icons that say Launcher. 1 says "_Launcher" and the other "Launcher". The one with the underscore is for Ignite and the other is the Ignite bypass.
Pick the bypass. It should start to patch up. That Aeria Ignite data harvestering tool has no benefits. Actually, it causes crashes and huge amount of latency. Just by monitoring it's networking activities and how many system files it need to use for something so simple is a big red light...
And to make that light even bigger, when you force quit it from task manager it constantly tries to reopen itself just like your typical malware.
