Screen Freezes up for Couple of seconds in a Game

Is this also called FPS lag?
Hey guys I'm having minor yet annoying problems playing SF.

Whenever I play Team Death my screen would freeze up for couple of seconds (usually that couple of seconds gets me killed). My brother who plays on the same pc but on Sniper, freezes up less compared to Team Death.

Is this my computer's problem or is it the game? No one I know complains about it though.

As for my computer specs it's from -start-run-dxdiag-

Windows XP sp3
1 TB Hard Drive
GeForce 7050M-M
Processor: AMD Athlon Processor LE-1640, MMX, 3d now, ~2.6GHz (whatever this means)
Memory: >4 gb Ram

On the display tab:
Nvidia GeForce 8400GS
Approximate Total Memory: 512.0 MB

Honest to god I can play 3d games like Eden Eternal. I don't know why this would happen.

I tried spraying off the dust from my motherboard/fans/power charger fans/grandma. None of those seem to work.

Thanks for helping!

It has nothing to do with your computer. It's an in-game issue.

It's not an OS-specific bug either, I have Windows 7. If it's anything outside of Soldier Front, it's probably going to be driver related. Try updating your graphics card driver and see if that does anything.

I don't think it will help though.
