Are there any plans for putting in epic miraculous shards for exchange again?

I bought magic boxes and got shards. Am I stuck with an item I cannot use for an unknown time frame?

I have periodically purchased the magic box for the good items that is in
there.
However the epic Shard that was part of the exchange event that ended
11/20/12 is still dropping from the box.
And the boxes still on sail for another week.
Why you still including items in $$$$$$ mall when event is over.
Basically your selling items we cant use.
