these are the settings i use when i take a screen shot. if these settings make you lag you can always change it back later. i find it slightly difficult to work with graphics that are very low quality when making sigs and the end result can be a bad looking sig. remember the quality of your images count.

also, zoom in close on your character if you're going to use it as a sig or cut it out. it makes it easier to work with.
