You might ask for a balanced camping, but don't you forget that AoL is having more disadvantages when they got invaded by UoF in VR then otherwise ?


Even a soldier has to adapt on the circumstances. Scout, learn and think strategic.

God alone knows why VR is the favoured map for 80 pvp, but that is completely irrelavant to this topic, and shouldn't be discussed here.

The OP is about balancing CANTA in a simple and effective way, making things more fun for everyone in 20-30 pvp, without depending on utilising 'strategies' that may or may not be beyond some people. This is a computer game. Some people enjoy applying strategy as you mention, some just turn up and mash a few buttons and still manage to enjoy themselves and succeed. This idea merely takes a disadvantage away, and I see nothing wrong with that. This game is ever evolving. Why should we put up with something below par if it can be fixed with something so simple?

I ask for a tiny chance in a specific map that is the only map available for 30 pvp. 80 pvpers can choose between dinos, VR, PR, the 3 new maps, DD1, and Dwater... not my fault if they choose VR out of the 8 maps they can choose from easily...more if you add in boss maps like CS, SC, D2, etc.

Just gonna say I support his and it's a real easy fix, those forward guards at main light gate are were added in (it was real obvious since they didn't exist in Linked) much like new guards for Jungle and such... They could just stop putting them there every maint.

Less work to do and fixes the problem 2 birds one stone.  


Also, you can say it's useless QQ all you want guys but it's the tears of Lights that got those guards placed there in the first place, which kinda nulls your point. =P

It's not about advantages...well sorta. As is: AoL can use their base effectivrly as 1-hit guard is out doing his job. At UoF base, the 1-hit guard is scared of the over-wheming number of AoL and is also hiding inside the ides.

^this....and the fact if AoL wishes to push from base they have a broad area they can flood out from allowing for less "bottle necking" into the mass....from a fury persepctive if u wanna push the campers....basicly whoever leads the charge and possibly 3 or 4 more HAVE to run head on into a very tight group of lights with NO hope of not being ganged to death in a second... u put 30 toons in a box...and have to run though that box to get anywhere....kindda sucks...from aol they can come close to hill AND also have others going from far end at the tree to push out/around/snipe.....

The guards should be made stronger. There are people enchanted to [17] in 15pvp, and people enchanted to [18] in canta, and people enchanted to [20] level 31+. Make the guards tougher near towns and make seperate guards for when the altars are spawned: You want the guards near the altars to be a challenge, but the guards near the town shouldn't fall so easily. Make them so tough no one of the opposite faction tries to camp the other side anymore. And either take away the skills that allow the opposite faction to raid the base, or make them usable only outside of the 15/30 pvp zones.
