[DISCUSSION] Why would a teacher do this? [DISCUSSION]

My friend wore a shirt which said "*** & Go" ( Its a gas state..). The teacher made him switch shirts. I didn't get why, it was a shirt with the logo of a gas station. *Note* If you post something inappropriate you are taking full responsibility. I do not get in trouble. Be mature and on topic. Don't post something inappropriate. If you do it's fully your fault.**

Once again edit it, just leave it as i did "only trying to look out for you"

I don't really think that is bad any way

If a teacher feels like something is going to interrupt the class they have the right to request it be removed. Maybe they felt uncomfortable seeing someone wearing that shirt? Dunno

True, but no body really cared. I don't see why still. But yeah you are possibly correct.

They probably felt that the shirt violated school rules, with regard to propriety. If this was the case, your friend was probably lucky to be asked to change his shirt, rather then see the principal/headmaster and face possible detention or worse. School administrators tend to over react in an attempt to protect themselves.
