I'm pretty sure how softnyx calculates damage is they add elbow and glove armor into the equation for chest armor.

so 25% vest + 10% glove + 25% elbow protector is about 60%.

.4* 132 gives you roughly 53. That's just about four to five hit kill, which is about consistent with a typical 250 tor 240 hp dying in four to five hits from a stout.

What completely confuses me if wolf armor though. Somehow, +33% hp means a character wolf can take about 10 SCAR headshots. I think wolves had like, 20% bullet protection or something without tattoos?

Which is what I mean by armor doesn't protect the body part it is assigned to. Clear body shots shouldn't factor in arm armor but it always does. Even in this post it is claimed to register to correct parts but it's not.

Found this at my comp. Dk if its useful or not. So i just stash it here.

Anyway in Softnyx, i ran some test. Arms AP indeed has minimal effects in withstanding bullets. Mostly is for tanking wolves though.

If u hit slightly away from the center of body, it counts as Arms+Body, like wise when u aim hips, it goes Knee+Body etcs. If its right smack in the center of body, its only vest % that's counted in o_O

Quoting this again cause I just remembered something

Tell me why I tanked up to 3 times more hits than usual when I only wore a 15% vest. As a non armored, I only survived 2 hits maximum. 1 hit would bring me down to at least 40 hp anyways. But when I wore a 15% vest, I can somehow tank up to 4-6 wolf hits. Math wise, I should still die in 2 hits. But somehow this covered up to 6.
