Actually i did this when i was in softnyx, hence pls take note the jargons/slangs used are from Softnyx WT. Im not sure if this is useful or not, but hope it helps. Saw this piece of junk in my computer XD
*Pls do not flame*
*I actually have the picture of all the armours, but im just too lazy to add them in*
Have fun reading
Introduction to Human Armour
Armours are worn on Human to make them have more defence against incoming attacks. The armour reduce a certain amount of damage,
different types of armour work differently, and their amount of defence ("thickness") is also different. I will start off by introducing the Human
Armour Stat Chart.
Reading of the stat chart
*AP* = Armour Point
1. Head AP (Can be gotten from Headgear/Mask)
2. Body AP (Can be gotten from Vest)
3. Arms AP (Can be gotten from Arm Guard/Gloves)
4. Legs AP (Can be gotten from Knee Guard)
5. HP (Can be gotten from Headgear/Mask)
6. Snake Attack <Backstab Damage> (Can be gotten from Specs/Headgear)
7. Speed (Can be gotten from Boots/Gloves)
The most fundamental thing you should know is, which AP affect your defence against a human's bullet and a wolf's claw attacks respectively.
AP that are important in defending a human's bullet is Vest,Head AP, HP (arranged in accordance to importance).
AP that are important in defending a wolf's claw attacks is Vest,Arm AP,Knee AP, HP (arranged in accordance to importance).
Next up, i will discuss about the nature of the different types of armours seen in WT.
*Words that are used in subsequent paragraphs,
Helmet = Headgear with Head AP.
Hat= Headgear with higher HP.
"900CC" = normal cash character with regular cash armour, priced at 900cc per piece per day, hence the name.
"SP" = Special Parts
"WL" = Wolf Look
"Thick/Thin" = the amount of defence/ damage it can withstand.*
1. Gold Armour (Helm)
Basic armour. Armour is the thinnest among all. HP is sacrifised for a minute amount of Head AP (compared to Armour 2.) This set is not
recommended as that small amount of extra Head AP is still unable to tank any headshots properly, rendering it uesless. Hence this set
is not recommended.
2. Gold Armour (Hat)
Basic armour. I favour this set over 1. as it has higher HP and the extra HP may just be enough to save your life. After receiving a boost from
WT Balance patch to Gold Armours, this set of armour is almost as good as Armour 3/4. However this is still ultimately a Gold Armour, so do
not expect too much from it. With cautious play, this armour is still deemed usable.
3. 900CC (Helm)
Slightly thicker than gold armours, but is still relatively thin compared to other Cash armours. Like in the same discussion about choice of
1/2, I do not support this set as its extra Head AP is still not enough to tank headshots decently, unless a mask is equipped on.
4. 900CC (Hat) / SC / SE
Same scenario of HP vs Head AP, HP here is preferred as the extra HP can be used to tank more. Especially with higher AP, the extra HP will
have more potential of usage (due to the higher defence), compared to Head AP (which still remain quite uesless due to the fact that it
cannot tank headshots decently yet.).
5. Wolf Look / Basic "SP" (Limited time event)
A rather unique armour that is designed to tank wolves. High arm/knee AP and a decent body armour makes this set of armour the best
among single-type armours to tank attacks of wolves. Its natural high AP is of course balanced by its low HP. Hence, this set of armour
is ideal in "vs Wolf", but not that good in "vs Human", but nonetheless is still better than 1~4.
6. SP (Helm)
Thickest single type armour to tank humans. Its high AP in vest (body AP) means it can tank bullets. By sacrifising some HP, it has the ability
to tank headshots, thus saving your life at crucial times. The helmet in SP has high enough AP to prove its place instead of the usual Hat. A
wise choice over armour 7 in a "vs Human" game.
7. SP (Hat)
Has highest HP among all single type armours, proving its worth in gun-fights. Having the best body AP in game also mean that it can tank
wolves decently too. This set is made for a play of varieties, it will shine well in the mixed game of "vs Human/Wolf".
8. SP+900CC (Helm)
Strengthened version of 6.
9. SP+900CC (Hat)
Strengthened version of 7.
10. SP+WL (Helm)
Ultimate human tanker. Tanks wolf decently too, but its main highlight lies in its ability to tank headshots superbly. WL is used to cover the
weaknesses of SP armour and further stregthened its already-high Head AP. This armour is chosen over 11. in a game of "vs Human".
11. SP+WL (Hat)
Armour with most HP and relevant AP for tanking wolves. A nightmare for wolves, owing to its reinforced arm/leg AP and its high HP. Its high
HP and AP against wolf attacks makes it a versatile armour to be used, hence best employed in a "vs Human/Wolf" game. This set only has
one weakness, the Head AP is relatively low compared to other parts' AP, but is still strong to tank a weak gun's headshots.
******* Human AP tattoos *******
Human AP tattoos are used to reinforce the defence of human armour. In this section, we will show you the different levels of Human AP
Rule of calculating Human AP
Assuming x is the number of AP,
if x is smaller than or equal to 5, +x > +x%
if x is bigger than 5, +x < +x%
Ranking of common AP value: +5% < +5 < +10 < +10%
*Important point to note: up to the point when this guide is written, Red Lion tattoo is currently bugged, hence the stated 10% Human AP is
Making A Good Choice of Armour According to Your Needs
Having the best armour does not mean a thing. It is also not neccessarily bad if u have a "thin" armour. It's up to your own skills/styles to
decide on your armour. A good choice often means you spend lesser than what you think that you need (in actual fact you don't), and you can
use the extra budget to spend on something else. Just go with an armour you are comfortable with, yet affordable enough for your budget.
Do not buy something that is way over your budget, choose wisely your armour according to my descriptions of the armours. Your favourite
modes/style of play should play a heavy part in your decision-making.
Lastly, do not change your armour too often (yes, I mean both UPGRADES AND DOWNGRADES), as it is rather difficult to adapt to a brand new
type of armour, this will usually cause a major disruption to your usual gameplay.
*Extras, Some interesting questions...
"The biggest Debate in choosing SP characters, which one BEST?"
Basically there are only 2groups of SP, 240HP SP vs 250HP SP.
240HP has a higher Arm AP by 10, in turn losing 10HP in exchange, hence can tank better in vs Wolves.
250HP has a higher HP of 10, in turn losing 10AP in Arm AP, hence got better HP to deal with bullets.
Make up your mind of which games you will be in, before choosing the SP of a particular character!!
