I would like to discuss the matter of germainemerks10 and his 'activities' in BTF.

Germainemerks10 recently discovered a way to alter the mechanics in Born to Fire. This falls under exploitation of game mechanics and is normally a bannable offense.

I will not give specifics on how he did this, but he DID go in-game and test out these altered mechanics. After confirming that his changes did in fact work and greatly altered his gameplay, germainemerks10 then went about trying to contact us and report these issue. Unfortunately it led to a confusing situation and many accusations of hacking by other players.

We have worked out the situation and these vulnerabilities will be addressed and fixed next patch. Germainemerks10 helped us greatly in what could have been a much bigger issue, had these exploits gotten to release.

I would like to end by saying Beta is for discovering and reporting issues and germainemerks10 did just that. While we ask that he not abuse the 'hidden power' he has discovered, he did the right thing in reporting it to us.
