Apologies for the double post, but I recieved word from Aeria.
After they said they are working diligently to fix the problem, I asked them if I and the other players were GURANTEED our ranks back, no matter the end result.
They said they are unsure if the problem is solvable, and if those affected will ever recieve their rank back, even if they do fix the problem so that it doesn't happen to others.
So that just goes to show how great of a team Aeria has. They can't fix their own technical problems, and when it affects their players, their attitude is "deal with it, we don't care about you or your problem that WE caused" Rather than, "Here, let me do what anybody with common sense would do because you've provided all the evidence necessary, let me manually restore your account back like a good Game Master should."
