Something's really been bothering me lately

More than half of the time it seems like, when I join a Musou melee, I immediately get kicked out just because of my Colonel rank. What's the point of even making a Musou room if you're just going to boot out everyone below a certain rank? Just make it Elite or Veteran or something if you're going to be that particular with who you play with! And how do you expect anyone to ever reach General rank if they get booted out of every single game they try to join?

And also, stop with that dumb "handicap's not turned on" excuse. I can read, I know before I even enter that it's not turned on, and chances are I've already looked at who we're going to be up against, and have already thought about whatever "disadvantage" I might have against them. But seriously, is the difference between a level 3 and 4 weapon really THAT big?

it would be one thing if a Grand Marshall or something like that showed up in the enemy army, but otherwise if you're going to be so friggin particular with your allies, then why even bother creating a Musou melee?

I can answer this.

There is no Elite Mode outside of showdowns. People up at that point HAVE to use musou rooms in order to have games. It's stupid, I know, but it's all we've got here.

I do apologize for the experience you had, but I hope this will provide you with the information to realize why they did that.

I'm colonel too, I get kicked from battles as well. But then I made the battle so then I chose who stayed in the battle and who had to go. Most of the battles I do have handicap on which evens out the life of everyone. To have a good battle.

Colonel is the worst most unbalanced rank in the game. Think of it as the DWO hazing period.
To try and avoid getting kicked from melee:
1. Create the melee youself
2. play with people about the same rank as you
3. join a guild and play with other guild members
4. play ALL modes not just confront
5. temper your weapons so you can run a Veteran melee

Just keep chipping away at it and you'll rank out of Colonel eventually. Wink

Yes a Colonel time can really ruin your experience - and i apologise as well.

There are mostly 2 reasons why a colonel is going to be kicked in the most cases :

1. your allies that are a bit higher know you can just use r3 weapons..which is not that pwerful.

2. your allies dont know you yet, means they dont how you play yet

For that is a easy solution - you have to make your own rooms, and show off what you can do. Allies will recognize you and instead of ,,Meh..a Colonel'' there will be ,,Oh yeah its him!''.

And you will not just gain respect on your allies side, if you're in team with chariots and perimeters without going to be kicked - then the enemies knows that you're a pretty badass.

And also as well a guild is a cool solution, you can play together - have fun and chill Smile

It's not always about the ranks,That's because you join a room that is suppose to be a team's room
Edit : Iam a hardcore kicker though , I kick everyone who I don't know (high ranks too) I'd rather not having a match instead of playing with noobs, "cough cough" no offense.

You're seriously shortchanging people there nick.
Instead of making new friends you're breeding resentment - among your own faction no less.
Keep it up and you may find yourself getting kicked because other players can't stand you.

Re: Something's really been bothering me lately

1) The community expect you to play SD and farm honor.

2) R3 and R4 have 4 max temper difference, and R4 have wider range too.

3) Some created room just to play with their own guildies and friends, nothing biggie. I agree it would be more polite if they tell you it's reserved before kicking though.

Indeed Colonel rank is the worst time of your DWO life
And yes R3 and R4 does have huge differences (assuming the user knows what he/she is doing)
Make sure you open yourself a handicap room and don't join Musou until at least a general rank

Yeah I'm colonel and the musou battles are hard with handicap off! I've fought people past general rank I saw a Minister once and I bet there weapon was like level 7! But with handicap on I do fine. I have 1,700 something honor so I think I'm gonna have another promotion test at 2,000 honor points
