I couldn't agree with you more about how other described us in PvE n PvP, but the other things I must state are :
1. Dot have a Fixed Damage, it actually does more damage at low level 90-120 ticks @ lv 1~15 is, and once ur near lvl 30 it only ticks about 70. I agree with Brian here, Need to be changed to % of your Magic attack. does more damage as level goes up, NOT lower.
2. The defense gap isn't Major. If my Calculations were right 30 defense is only about 1% damage reduction.
3. Your Damage = Magic Attack / 3 + Skill descrition damage - Target's Magic Defense(havent had a chance to figure out M.Def calculation yet). Your magic attack is not same as it shows. Other else other melee classes that gets 1 attack per str and 6 attacks in their runes VS 6 Magic attack per int and 30 M.Atk runes would be extremely unfair.
4. I agree heals are too strong.. Well when other skills get effected by 1/3 of your Magic attack, Heal gets 200%, but the arguement here is, Shadowmages got Lowest damage of all Damagers. Our base HP isnt any better than sorcs, and our defenses are low, We do not have Stuns or any type of CC that is worth it ( Paralysis Curse is the only CC last 2s but the Starting motion + Casting time + Finishing motion = over 2s ) So maybe heal is too weak since it's the only thing we got that can win others while we are sitting ducks.
P.S I think Reducing our healing amount and removing cooldown time on Heal and Adding CDT on to Critical heal is a better way to go. like no cd on heal 1s casting healing 800-1000. critial heal 10s cd, no casting, 1400-1600 heal. something like that.
5. Please make instant spells Actually INSTANT. when you use a spell it .. STOPS > Casts > Charaction motions > Then your free again to move. Every time we use a spell, We make our self Vulnerable (being all squeeshy makes this worse) 1 Second casting spells actually takes 3s or more to get the job complete. Please make 1 second spells dont waste any more time than 1 second, it means the casting starts as soon as you use it, and it ends soon as it finishes. Pre-motion frames and finishing motion frames can be done during the casting time, not before and after. And remove or let it happen while moving about spells that doesnt have a casting time.
I went Full Con and tanky (Laeheal & VioletShadow is me and I got Aruged alot for my build) so I dont die in 3 seconds of stuns. I live and heal. I won't go down until my mana is deployed, I gave up Damage for Survival. The problem is... even if I wont go down, there is no time but to Spam Heal mixed with Critical Heal.
6. Its not related to Class but... PLEASE Add channels. I'm so sick of Warriors n Others with higher dps KS(Kill stealing) mine or party's boss and monsters
I think just with these fixed, it would be pretty balanced for us. Even if we have low damage, no CC, low hp. others stuns r 1-2 sec at max. Warriors n Paladins does extreme mounts of damage to you, but if you can kite and heal and let the dots do their work slowly it can work out.
One last thing.. Please change the sound effect of when we jump and get healed. It moans everytimes we do these, and those who have their speakers up... ppl around u thinks ur watching porn. (have u ever heard how spam Critical heal sounds like? Lol)
