I couldn't agree with you more about how other described us in PvE n PvP, but the other things I must state are :

1. Dot have a Fixed Damage, it actually does more damage at low level 90-120 ticks @ lv 1~15 is, and once ur near lvl 30 it only ticks about 70. I agree with Brian here, Need to be changed to % of your Magic attack. does more damage as level goes up, NOT lower.

2. The defense gap isn't Major. If my Calculations were right 30 defense is only about 1% damage reduction.

3. Your Damage = Magic Attack / 3 + Skill descrition damage - Target's Magic Defense(havent had a chance to figure out M.Def calculation yet). Your magic attack is not same as it shows. Other else other melee classes that gets 1 attack per str and 6 attacks in their runes VS 6 Magic attack per int and 30 M.Atk runes would be extremely unfair.

4. I agree heals are too strong.. Well when other skills get effected by 1/3 of your Magic attack, Heal gets 200%, but the arguement here is, Shadowmages got Lowest damage of all Damagers. Our base HP isnt any better than sorcs, and our defenses are low, We do not have Stuns or any type of CC that is worth it ( Paralysis Curse is the only CC last 2s but the Starting motion + Casting time + Finishing motion = over 2s ) So maybe heal is too weak since it's the only thing we got that can win others while we are sitting ducks.
P.S I think Reducing our healing amount and removing cooldown time on Heal and Adding CDT on to Critical heal is a better way to go. like no cd on heal 1s casting healing 800-1000. critial heal 10s cd, no casting, 1400-1600 heal. something like that.

5. Please make instant spells Actually INSTANT. when you use a spell it .. STOPS > Casts > Charaction motions > Then your free again to move. Every time we use a spell, We make our self Vulnerable (being all squeeshy makes this worse) 1 Second casting spells actually takes 3s or more to get the job complete. Please make 1 second spells dont waste any more time than 1 second, it means the casting starts as soon as you use it, and it ends soon as it finishes. Pre-motion frames and finishing motion frames can be done during the casting time, not before and after. And remove or let it happen while moving about spells that doesnt have a casting time.
I went Full Con and tanky (Laeheal & VioletShadow is me and I got Aruged alot for my build) so I dont die in 3 seconds of stuns. I live and heal. I won't go down until my mana is deployed, I gave up Damage for Survival. The problem is... even if I wont go down, there is no time but to Spam Heal mixed with Critical Heal.

6. Its not related to Class but... PLEASE Add channels. I'm so sick of Warriors n Others with higher dps KS(Kill stealing) mine or party's boss and monsters


I think just with these fixed, it would be pretty balanced for us. Even if we have low damage, no CC, low hp. others stuns r 1-2 sec at max. Warriors n Paladins does extreme mounts of damage to you, but if you can kite and heal and let the dots do their work slowly it can work out.
One last thing.. Please change the sound effect of when we jump and get healed. It moans everytimes we do these, and those who have their speakers up... ppl around u thinks ur watching porn. (have u ever heard how spam Critical heal sounds like? Lol)

Well to start with several skills were put into the wrong trees as has been pointed out several times. I have seen several people complaining that the heals were too powerful and need to be lessened. Dear God DONT do this. People dont seem to understand that when open starts we wont have a lvl 35 cap anymore, and we will desperately need healers with higher heals. Also some kind of a pet system would help SM alot. Whether it be a stat boosting(party help), skill boosting(party help), or attacking(grind help) type of pet. Any will help this class alot.

The only other thing(because a pet system will take care of alot) is to add another(at least 1 more) tier to the poison skill. Too low damage to make any kind of a difference past level 20.

Shadowmage skills

reaction of mobs before the hit lands
While i was playing both classes of shadowmage the healer with curses and the other dark magics with party buffs i noticed that when i cast a spell on a mob the mob takes agro before the hit lands on the mob can you fix that???I think its a problem and 1st time i meet it in a mmo.

I would love to play SM as Full supporter, what do I mean? Lower the heling power and heals reuse time, that way in party we can use party heal more often. It will be best if u separate the buildings. Put buffs at healing at same building tree, because I didn't had enough points to max my Buffs and Heals. One mana regeneration skill like Sorceres will be good tough, because I put all my points in WIT and INT and only 2 or 3 points in CON... That's absurd! Also as a Healer and buffer I had only 2 skills to fight with Poison clound and Poison Arrow. It's really boring having 2 DD (DOT) skills and 3 heals with 4 buffs. It will be nice if there was more skills like Mana Recharge (to recharge other people mana) Balance Life heals ( for party to balance each other's life) and ressurection. If you make the game that way to chose between Supporter (heal and buffs) or chose Pure DD (DoT) power for SM will be a lot better and much fun in game. Also for the time I was playing (lvl 35) I got the opportunity to play in party only in Temple ONCE. The game must be balanced and more party zones will be nice not only for SM for all classes. Oh and Why there are 4 Warrior classes I mean 4 racec 4 warrior classes... It's not good at all if there was a Rogue class or archer class it will be fully completed! Thank you

I was rather disapointed in the right side of a tree as I wanted to play a full support shadowmage. It felt like it was lacking in many ways to be a true supporter.
The party buffs at the left side should be replaced to the right side. These buffs feel misplaced as they are now. A supporter without any (party) buffs ain't a true supporter, imo.
Cooldowns of heals should be cut (especially the party heal) but lower the healing power to compensate.
Change the mp restoring skills. The one at the right tree should have less cool down and should consume less hp. (10 or 15 seconds cd sounds fair to me, maybe let it consume 200 hp max) The one at the right side shouldn't consume hp and shouldn't be % based. Heals already consume a huge chunk of mp, atleast let us have an improved mp restoring skill to keep up our mp. Mp pots are expensive at lower lvls and got a rather long cd, it doesn't seems to cut it when you constantly need to heal.
Add some change to a mp burn skill, maybe add a short stun or a short root to the effect.
A ressurection skill and a skill which removes debuffs is a must for a supporter.
Dots and bleeds should be % based of magic attack and shouldn't have fixed damage.

I haven't gotten very far into the right tree, so I don't know all that much about it, but for a cc class/tree they surely don't got many cc skills. Atleast add a few more cc skills (no more % based cc skills please) and replace the party buffs with some self buffs.

I think dark cauldron should cost more mp to use but have a shorter cool down time maybe 10 seconds. Also, Paralysis skill should be aoe stun because well i think it's just redundant as a single target skill.

animation takes too long and have a variety of actions not just a set of poses. there should be a auto run/walk if you click on the map. I have to admit that it's a lazy feature but let's face it, nobody wants to stay tuned on a long walk.
but other than that I enjoyed playing
keep it up ^^

increase the seconds to paralyze the target of the skill Paralityc Curse, because 130 mp for 2 seconds with 50% chance to paralyze the target would seem to me a little bit, do not use this skill if none is so ..

and 12 seconds to reload the skills are a bit too many for 2 seconds to paralyze and 130 mp .. or decrease the MP for lancieare the skill or increase the seconds of paralyze .. EDIT

expected this class to be a Hard raiser because its a shadow mage ._. shes more of a support thats boring where are the curses and damage over time skills thought she was a offensive class but nothing good about her but the op heal ._. i say put her heals and buff stuff on the sorc and replace them with something that makes sense on a shadow mage lol

Love this game and class. Game was easy to understand and great quest set ups. Thank you for the experience. i never had too much lag, graphics great, just all around great game. i also play shiaya so im now torn between the 2. but since there so different i'll prob play both tyvm
