The Shaiya updater comes on, but once pressing the start button the updater disappears and then nothing happens, i am just wondering what i can do to solve this?

You could always try reintalling shaiya and seeing if that works. That's usually the case with MMO's.

I have the same problem. But i just installed the game! First time i played it today!

Some Anti-Virus programs may interpret the install as a malicious attack. You could try disabling your antivirus during the install process and then re-enabling it after.
