Anyone experiencing (or not) a problem with the earned experience as a VIP member? I've just put another 2x exp ticket up and realised that I'm not getting the experience I should be getting? In the void encampment with a ticket up I should be getting in excess of 600 exp per mob - yet I'm only getting 401? Any ideas?

Or am I simply a silly goose and there is no 2x exp for VIP anymore? Or maybe someone ate my 2 x exp coupon?

Double exp is actually original amount of exp add the original.

Example:

Mobs gives 200exp.
With double exp is 200+200.
With double exp + VIP is 200+200+200
With 1.5x exp +VIP is 200+100+200

Okay, so that means as I was getting 401exp with VIP and a 2x exp coupon up that something wasn't working properly?

Yes Vip Does Give 2x

when u have 2x and another 2x this would actually give u 3x not 4x
the math works like this.

1(base)+ 1(2x) + 1(2x) = 3x(exp gained)

so if a mob were to give you an example of say 50
you would recieve

50 + 50 + 50 = 150

you receive a 2x but its 2x the base rate.

Whatever the system is, it doesn't explain why I acquired the same amount of experience using a 3X experience token as I did when I had two 2X experience tokens. By definition I should be getting an additive 4x if it's a percentage/multiplier. Is there a clearer explanation of the boosts?

A 3x bonus effectively gives you 2 bonus sets of your Base EXP
If you receive 100EXP from a mob with a 3x boost it goes:
Boosted EXP = base + bonus + bonus = EXP
Boosted EXP = 100 + 100 +100 = 300EXP

A 2x bonus effectively gives you one bonus set of your base EXP
Each 2x multiplier would only add one bonus of your base exp so it would also go:
Boosted EXP = base + bonus1 + bonus2= EXP
Boosted EXP = 100 + 100 + 100 = 300
