hello, many people and I have had quite a problem. the achievements for steam no longer work as the title suggest. Most are people that want the special knife in tf2. can i have an answer on this scenario or maybe a fix?

nope

You could use Steam Achievement Manager and just add the needed achievement.
Don't over do it, just the necessary achievement

The Team Fortress event still works?
Does that mean I can get the Holy Mackerel?

No.
It works for TF2, but not AVA
