I never heard of 'Enjin' in my life, but I'm currently a moderator in the official forums of another MMORPG that shouldn't be named (publicly).

So I'd be up for it if not being familiar Enjin wasn't a problem.

Will the armory / whatever be using PHP as a server-sided language then? Or something else?

I myself never heard of Enjin before, but after trying it out, it wasn't so bad. In fact, I prefer it than the previous websites I'd use. You can go ahead and be a moderator in another MMORPG that you shall not name, but Enjin is 100% legit. I got out of my comfort zone and actually enjoy using Enjin.
