Helpful Programs for AVA, Ignite, and Overall PC Health.

Updated the name so I don't have to tell keep linking threads. Already worked for 10+ people.
AVA and Ignite both connect to the Internet using the same Internet connection that is used by all of your applications. The first step to fixing the problems that you may encounter with AVA and Aeria Ignite is making sure that your computer can connect to the Internet without interference from other software or processes.

Also, many of these software are crucial in my opinion for any computer intended for gaming/personal use. Examples would be Game Booster, CCleaner, and Driver Booster; all of which provide a streamlined performance for your PC.

In this tutorial, I will show you how to do just that.

Important Software

CCleaner: Free registry and Cookie deleter.

If you are having lag issues, the first thing you should do is run "CCleaner". It is a free software that cleans up all of your browser cookies, cache, and ghost objectives which helps free up memory. Its defiantly not one of those software that beg you to upgrade and its really easy to use.

CCleaner not only fixes Internet related problems, It cleans all parts of your computer including all of your web browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari, and Opera), Windows (Recycle Bin, Recent Documents, Temporary files and Log files) and your computer registry.

To download it, go here: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

Once you have downloaded, watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8y0W8Q5RZQ

This should have helped your computer freeing up a lot of the background cookies and processes that use internet.

Game Booster:A free software to handle all of your processes.

You should always run Game Booster when you play AVA because Game Booster closes all of your background processes and even closes processes that may conflict with AVA. By closing these processes, you allow a higher volume of ram to be allocated towards the major task the PC is required to do. More processing power will also be allocated towards this task and thus you should be able to get better performance out of your PC while gaming.

If you find it troubling to stop running applications, clear out RAM, update drivers, and otherwise get your system ready for a gaming session, free app Game Booster will do it all for you, according to your preferences.

cFosSpeed - The Internet Accelerator

Suggested by Gazj84. If this software helps you, give him karma on his profile here-

cFosSpeed increases your throughput and reduces your Ping.

Keep your internet fast during heavy upload/download
Improve your Ping for online games
Reduce audio/video streaming problems

cFosSpeed optimizes your Internet connections with Traffic Shaping and Prioritization .

For all access types: DSL, Cable, Mobile Broadband (2G/3G), WiFi, etc.

Driver Booster

Personally, I have been using this software and suggesting it to many other people as I go along and it helps a great deal with making sure that your computer is optimized and ready for action. This software automatically updates all of your drivers and video cards and everything else in your system to its latest version.

If you would like to learn how to use this software go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oqagx4G0ZA

If you would like to download this software go here: http://www.iobit.com/driver-booster.php

The reason I am adding this to the important software list is that I know for a fact that you guys have outdated drivers here and there that you do not know about and it is because of those drivers that you could be facing issues with your computer performance as a whole.

A community member, AVA_Shin (http://www.aeriagames.com/user/AVA_Shin), has extra keys for the pro version of this software. If you would like to use the pro version of this software for faster download and faster scan rates, feel free to contact him. I'm sure he wouldn't mind sharing the keys.

Optional Software

Advanced System Care: Free computer enhancement utility.

Advanced system care pretty much hits on all of the areas that the above software missed. It tries to fix all of the issues that your computer has including scanning for errors and viruses/spyware.

This software basically goes above and beyond to try to optimize your PC for speed.

Smart Defrag 2: Free computer defragging

Defragmenting is an important utility for computers that people often over look. In hindsight, most people done even understand what defragmenting is.

wikipedia wrote:
defragmentation is a process that reduces the amount of fragmentation. It does this by physically organizing the contents of the mass storage device used to store files into the smallest number of contiguous regions (fragments). It also attempts to create larger regions of free space using compaction to impede the return of fragmentation.

Long story short: It makes your computer faster.

Smart Defrag 2 is a free software that is relatively easy to use and has more options then the conventional Windows Defrag. It pretty much stabilizes PC performance so you don't have any issues that randomly pop up while your ingame.

I have mine set to automatic so I don't have to deal with it.

Hope this helps.

2/5/2014 Update: Recently updated this list with more softwares and better descriptions. Added a link of contact to a community member who has extra keys for the professional version of this software. Hope these changes help.

I'm sorry but my 2 cents would be to not follow this guide. You don't need an abundance of "PC Fixing" software to run your computer efficiently. In fact, I would say the less, the better.

In comparison with most people, my computer is very clean and minimal. I don't use Steam, nor Aeria Ignite to launch A.V.A. My A.V.A is pretty simple and straight-forward as well. It's just a folder with the game files, and to uninstall it, all I have to do is delete the folder.

If you want to keep background process minimal, just stop installing all this BS software.

This guide is obviously not on trying to "run your computer efficantly" but rather how to easily fix 99% of the problems that people have with AVA or with Ignite.

Most of the people who have AVA on their computers also use that same exact computer to do their school or job related tasks. They cannot simply "Stop installing BS software" because they need that software for other tasks that they want to accomplish.

Computers are not just for running AVA. People do a lot on their computer which may also involve software that interfere with AVA.
