When you get the needed items, flour eggs and seed you can go to Lorraine and she will make a moon cake..maybe can fail. eat it for attack speed and movement speed or make 10 and she will make a full Moon cake, maybe can fail also. she tells you the rate of chances. You can read all she says.

If you make a full moon take it to the Domain Merchant she will take it for 10k to 500k gold or maybe 2 HS's.

Unless they have upped the prizes for full mooncakes, save the little mooncakes. They are like a short lived adren and quite useful if you are too cheap to pop an adren.
