Been playing for about 5 days or so and I have come up with a few suggestions that I think will make the final product better.
First, there needs to be some sort of bomb defusing action. Currently, I see a guy with his gun out defusing a bomb. You could add a pair of pliers to simulate cutting the wires to the bomb maybe. I have seen this work well.
Second, which bomb is planted? I find myself asking this everytime. Maybe there is already an indication of which bomb it planted and I just haven't seen it yet. If not though, change the voiceover to say something like "Bomb A is planted, defend it!" or something like that.
Third, whenever someone is cycling through available maps in the game lobby, whenever the point man map pops up, it changes everyone to point man. If you forget or don't notice, you will go into your next game as point man and then have to spend the gold to switch to something else. Can you change this so you aren't forced into point man unless the host actually starts the game on that map/mode?
Fourth, I really think the assault class should have 2 grenades in bomb mode. The other classes are fine at 1, but assault should really have a second one. Perhaps this could be an add-on in the shop or something. The assault should be able to use one grenade at the beginning to stop an enemy rush and then later on use a second to break up an enemy camp. This will bring a more tactical feel to the game. In deathmatch they would be fine with 1 I suppose, but in bomb mode, the second one really changes the gameplay.
Finally, a fifth, and I am not sure the capabilities of the CXG engine (I Googled and came up short), but can you make a larger scale map with vehicles? So when people get tired of the small close quarters stuff, they can go to an expanding map with tanks, humvees, planes, and helicopters. I think this will bring in a lot of the Battlefield crowd as well.
This game has some amazing features and it can have a very bright future if marketed correctly. Good luck and see you on the battlefield!
