I'm all kinds of confuzzled......
What I'd vote for:
-No gear.
-No musou (For a first to get hit, and that only, seems kind of cheap. Can easily just use, say claws, cudgel, or psword and run around them until they're hit.)
-1v1 or like night said, 2v2. Anymore than that is just a bit much and confusing.
-I dun like entry fees...
I'd offer to help with prizes as far as GM help goes, but I still have Aria's event that I have to make sure is payed out. (Plus I was pretty lucky to get Vert's approval for it. Might be pushing my luck a bit to ask for GM endorsement again so soon...)
Anyways....
I get the concept of first to get hit dies as far as 1v1 goes, but any more players than that is where I'm confused. Elaborate more on how you'd judge that if it were a team ._.
Would it be like a knock-out of team mates? Once hit they have to withdraw from the fighting as it goes on and last team with a man standing unhurt wins?
-Even in that case it shouldn't be 4v4. There'd need to be some kind of spec to make sure each team is playing fairly. 4v4 just leaves that chance too open.
Or would it be the first team to have a man hit in general that loses?
And just a small thing, what about the attacks that seem to happen at the same time and both players take damage at the same time? How would you go about judging that if it did happen?
-Not that it happens TOO often, but still something to have clarified now in the event that it might occur.
Also, will you count stunning or icing, ect. the other as a hit since there's still technically contact between them? Some may count that alone as a hit and try to win with that alone, or will combo/normal jump/running attacks hits only count?
-But would eliminate charge attacks and JC as actual hits. Can still be used, but just wouldn't count as the first hit. (IE: C3 on sfan, where the first 2 combos people usually don't connect with a player but string out to be able to freeze them at c3.)
Only things I can think to ask about as of now...
