So ur opinion is that nubs shall not stay in raid and keep the spots for ubers .

You only gain kills when in the area anyway, where the killing is happening. If you're too far away then you get nothing( knows from dying a lot Neutral ).
AFK players should get the kick, even with current raid size, unless due to an emergency or atleast leave and return after.

Maybe sharing of kills on maps will prevent players from wanting the other faction to camp them for pvp. Very Happy

My naked toon will gain kills even if your geared toons is trying to pvp at base instead of pushing out. Very Happy

AFKers always get the kick, and if not then lead just is lame xP

yep.

are they doing any harm? Nope

Even if said lowbies get yellow ranks the ubers would still destroy them. Honestly, give me 1 good reason, 1 definitive reason, that doing this would harm pvp in ANY way.
Absolutely nothing if you don't care about any zone but your own. However if you care about the game as a whole, having it set so that a person can happily log one computer and leech raids without any danger in low zones where pvp is more active and more around the clock, then using other toon to link and prepare uber gears for endgame before you lvl your high ranked nub... *smiles* but then, we want endgame guilds to have all yellow ranks without effort or learning pvp, right? Ah... no effort ranking, no danger... 500,000:0 ratio... just what we want.
So remove the ratio boards, problem solved, ratio freaks ruin pvp.

Even so, ratio is just number on a piece of paper. Whats the big deal? Seriously?

Though technically you are right, it wouldn't matter because so many wouldn't bother with pvping anymore if they didn't have to to get the ranks, there wouldn't be pvp in some zones... certain groups would just hide and leach... till there is no pvp to leech from.
To what end? Seriously, if the leech so bloody what? What harm are they doing? They can't get kills like pvpers because they are lambs to the slaughter. How else are they mean't to get kills? Especially now canta (for one) doesn't have enough room for pvpers as it is and can't even get in a regular raid.

I don't care if they leech, as long as they don't get in the way they are not doing any harm.
How are they supposed to get kills... by going out and pvping, by doing like the rest of us have and leveling to 30, getting geared...
I stopped reading after this.

Go and gear up an archer cheaply to make it competitive in 20-30 and i will continue to listen. It took me 3 years to build up my canta set, and even that is slowly becoming outdated and obsolete. To ask a new player to do it like its as easy as taking a piss is simply not reasonable.

Leeching does not ruin pvp, ubers in raid leech all the time, i have seen it. Are they earning kills? nope, but there they are. Different circumstances obviously but the fact remains, how does it negativily effect pvp. The answer is it simply does not, its just the perception pvpers have that leeching = ruins pvp. Not true.

Until you can make a DPS pvp set cheaply and quickly that is strong enough to compete, i have made my point.

They are trying.... does that make them able to take down someone like Dutchy? Or No.1?

Nope.

If they went out and 'tried to work for it' the raid would QQ at them for feeding and tell them to go get better.

If you wanna keep this p2p then don't whine when people drop out of pvp for whatever reason and pvp slowly stagnates because nobody can compete. It might be good now, doesn't mean it always will be.

again...you can still try. why would anybody expect to run into pvp and take down ubers right away? i think you need to get out of your little fantasy land and come back to the real world there hun. all that time 'building your set' and i've seen you in pvp once in the past month..what's up with that?......lol. Cool

Yea, i have a thing called a 'life' it's where i can't be ingame all day every day like you.

And this isn't about me pvping, i was putting things into perspective. If its so easy to do, give them your set and make a new one, OWAIT, not gonna do that are ya?

If they tried to pvp on a basic set they would get kicked for feeding, don't deny it, because it will happen I have seen it happen. Or they would get kicked when someone stronger turns up.

Now who is living in the fantasy land?

my set is dread/heroic, not even fully linked and i manage to make it into the main raid...you don't have to have the best gear to pvp when you know what you're doing, period. and no, i won't give my set to anybody, why?..b/c i've been in game a long time and i WORKED for my stuff in game, i don't buy AP, i farmed everything i have, which is what others are perfectly capable of doing themselves. and lets not get personal, i'm far from in game everyday Smile

I worked for my stuff aswell, but when i started i was upgrading WITH people, I could pvp even with a basic build and gear, and pvp to effect, as they upgraded, so did I.

Now people get in the zone, get owned, and leave again, and i don't blame them. This one is AGE's fault for allowing enchants and upgrades to spiral out of control.

But this was not my point, my point was give me 1 definitive explanation as to how having a whole map experience kills will negatively effect pvp. What actual harm will it do to pvp? How will it negatively impact on the pvp zones? We already have ratio nubs and leechers who go AFK at base, so don't give me 'they will go AFK and get kills' which i point you back to my original question, how in physical terms is that bad for pvp? How does getting kills they did not fight for actually causing harm? The rank stats don't make THAT much of a difference unless they are in the hundreds of thousands, even then you still need gear, so that is not a valid answer either.

If anything once they have some rank it may actually motivate them to get gear and try pvp if they aren't already.

Its not. Its just people getting all uppity over nothing because of the attitude people have. There is no definitive negative impact, why is it bad, you arent losing anything, people go AFK in base and grab kills (nobody has a problem with it) so don't give me 'they must earn kills' because that's just stupid. Nobody is losing out, so whats the big deal?

AoL might not kick afkers but fury does. We ALL believe you help out or you leave raid. Every single fury in canta will back me up with that one I'm positive. Done arguing with a brick wall though. Enjoy ^^
