Wolfteam Gave Me A Virus...

So, today I did a virus scan on my laptop because I noticed it running slower than usual. When it finished I found this,

Wolfteam gives viruses now? I haven't even played Wolfteam for a few months now and suddenly I get a virus from it?

Something like this happened before, same virus. It went untreated for a while and got really bad. I'm not sure if it came from Wolfteam that time too but, it was the same exact virus.

I never experience this problem. I've Cross-Checked across different Anti-Virus and haven't seen it on any of them. It's possible it wrongly accused that of being a virus/malware. I suggest doing a complete Cache Clean using (CCleaner) and clearing as much RAM space as possible (Disable Idle unnecessary processes).

This is why they tell people to disable securities because most pick WT up as a virus.

I've had Wolfteam on both of my computers for a while now. As far as I know, It's never happened on the other computer but then again, I haven't scanned that one in a while. Also, A few of my friends that I told they should download Wolfteam said that they're virus scanners picked up Wolfteam having a virus with it. I'm running Ad-Aware now just in case there's still some things left over. It's possible that it did wrongly accuse Wolfteam for it, When I got the same virus a few days before I had brought my laptop to the Hospital with me so I could get on it while I was there. And then I ended up getting Trojans and a Key-logger. I was just in the Hospital last night with my sister and I had my laptop with me and used it for a while, afterwards it was running a little slower so i ran the scan and now I have a virus again. So, it's possible that I am getting them from connecting to a different Wifi or, It is Wolfteam causing it. 50/50 chance here, anyway, the main virus is now gone. Hopefully anyway.. Ad-Aware just said this,

If this doesn't work, I will consider using CCleaner.

I had a similar problem back when I used Avira, but it was the cache files that WT created in the temp folder which for some reason were detected as malware, although they were just false positives. Might be just a false positive in your case too, and AVG is known for the "top false positive detection" award, lol. Just add it to the exeption list and it should be fine.

Try to disable your firewall and add wolfteam to exception list .

Dude, it's a virus (false positive) what does this have to do with anything he said?

So even if it reads the virus, it will just ignore it? I'm just assuming what he's trying to say there.

I'm friendly until you upset me. So don't. ;w;

He didn't say "antivirus exeption list", so I'm assuming he meant the firewall one , and that doesn't make sense.
