List of priorities, projects and general updates for the week of October 30th, 2012.

Grand Fantasia Report 10/30

This post is presented with the intention to alert the community to some of the things the Grand Fantasia team is currently working on or has marked priority.

Not all of our daily dealings and projects will be listed here. Just because it isn't listed does not mean we're not considering it or working on it. This thread is merely here to show you a few things we're doing.

This post will not contain any news about promotions -- please refer to the Promotions section of the forums and Grand Fantasia news posts for information about new promotions.

Here is the weekly updates and general news for Grand Fantasia as of this week:

Server Merge
The server merge between Gaia and Bodor will take place during the weekly maintenance on Monday, November 5th, 2012. There is no ETA on how long the merge will take. The birth of Ponchee is on the horizon. Further details can be found in the official server merge thread that was posted.

Character Deletion
On November 1st, 2012 we will be deleting characters that fit the ALL THREE of the following criteria:

If the character is level 10 or under.
2: If the character has 1 gold or less in their bag.
3: If the character has not been logged in for 6 months or more.

Archive
The archive was recently updated with various vanity items that had not yet been given slots. The main reason certain items still have not been added is because all of the archives between each version of Grand Fantasia use the same overall template. Any items that were made specifically for Grand Fantasia EN cannot be added to the archive, as they were not released in another version.

Here is the current (in-complete) list of items that cannot be added:

God of Death Suit
Red-Cloud Suit
Black Widow Dress
Little Cutey Suit
Sailor Girl Suit
Fawn Over Flora Suit
Red Devil Skirt

We have also requested to have the 85 yellows added to the archive as well as some sprite costumes/furniture that have yet to be added.

PVP Events/Incentives
We are still in discussion with the developers to see what solutions we can introduce to help PVP. In the meantime, here are a few ideas that have been presented to us that we are working on implementing:

Placeholders you purchase from the box for weekly redemption
With this idea, you would purchase a placeholder for the PVP bpx and at the end of the week, we would remove this placeholder and replace it for whatever package it entitled. Different placeholders for different packages, different point requirements for each.

Bug Fixes
At this current time our main priorities for bug fixes are the following:

Mission Order 2 bug (We need a more detailed report from the player base about this bug. Please submit one to the Bug Reports thread.)
Anti-Stun (need to fix the fix)
Sprite Island warp-out glitches
Un-localized Acolyte
Crying Sailor Mission Order (Some classes cannot complete)

We do have a detailed list of other bugs, but those listed above are the main ones we're aiming to have resolved at this current time.

Gold Sinks
Here is a list of the gold sinks we have implemented and/or are looking to have implemented:

O-clay table was updated. This set-up for the o-clay table is here to stay and is almost an exact copy of TW's table without specific items that have not yet been introduced to our version.
Underground Gold Shop was created. Serves as a 'store' where you can purchase the various items being offered there.
Prize update/new games for casino - we are looking into getting this implemented.
Sprite Island!

Miscellaneous
Here are other things the Grand Fantasia team has been working on/are working on:

Revamping the Grand Fantasia main website pages - such as the getting started, class introductions, screenshot page, etc.
Making new tutorial videos for new players.
Reaching out the the current community and potential new players via various social media networks - such as Facebook, Youtube and Twitter. Facebook is currently a priority as we receive many questions and suggestions via that medium.
