I think melee is a little bit too strong. I learned while facing a friend that 1 knife hit to the head was a immediate kill + headshot. Whereas it took 1-3 shots with a gun to the head for the kill + headshot.

I think this problem is due to the fact that headshot damage its outbalanced. This issue is described in several posts. Furthermore, when you don't headshot the knives really aren't that much.

Really? I think the melee is to weak not to mention it's hard to hit people with it.

In my opinion the M9-bayonet and Cold steel are actually OP, Due to the game still being beta with some lagg here and there, I can easily 1-hit knife people in either the head or neck/chest and due to there being no player collision (except with your own team sometimes) you can walk through the enemy confusing him and 1-hit stab him/her. Also you have a 2m long stab action and you can stab someone when you start stabbing at 4m distance.

The same lagg also makes knifing a bit UP because lagg from both your enemy and yourself can take the ammount of stabs needed for a kill up to 4

Imo Ranger, Sniper, and the Hatchet wielder are all fine in terms of damage and their right click ability / it's a freaking hatchet ;D but the thing that bugs me in terms of melee is medic has two knives but it takes like five body slashes. ( ten ) lol ~_~ just bugs me a little. ;3
