Aeria Ignite does not cause Lag problems in the game.

This is a technical fallacy, please stop telling people this.

Akamai Network which comes with Ignite *can* cause people lag.
That is because it works as a torrent program in the background.
Disabling "Uploads" will resolve that problem.

W/E andaro,I had to do a complete restore to my system thanks to ignite or whatever virus it has in it's program.Call it what you will,but i've had issues ever since it was installed and i'm not a happy camper either, where I have to jump through hoops to get name change cards for my toons.

So far i've stopped buying ap,leveling,drop hunting,gold farming and pretty much everything else there has to do with activities ingame because you can't do *POOP* because of the lag and the disconnects.

The next engine my company makes,i'll make sure to have a hand crank installed in it, in order to get anywhere in it,you'd have to stop the car on the side of the road every 3 miles to hand crank the starter to get the engine running again.
How would you like to have something like that in your car?
I know I wouldn't and we shouldn't have to download ignite along with LC in order to play.

Once it's installed,we're already screwed even when we uninstall it and do the mumbo jumbo to get the game back online,the files are corrupted.

Why not just have the option to include it with downloading of LC?You check the box for ignite or leave it unchecked.Plain and simple

Hubby has xp and 4gb ram Akamai (disabled) every thing up to date.

I have laptop vista and 4gb ram firewall blocked Akamai (so not even on mine) every thing up to date.

We had no lag. We both got the Iginte to get name cards.
We had lag got better after 1 day but still had it.

Go to Ignite hit exit lag gone. Put Ignite back on lag back. Different times of the day and night doing this.

Friends and guild mate in game. Say lag we tell them to go to the bar hit exit Ignite. Their lag gone. They say Thank you.

- not all of the lag is gone though.

some guild chat lagg once in a while and i often disconnect when i die. can't respawn immidietly.
