hey hoy,, actually, i use encourage and charm on me. if u look at your attack, part of it is phy. i don't kjnow how m uch it helps, but i think it help enuff to use it. encourgae at higher lvl is awesome, it lasts 5 min.,Wink now to get fast bow fixing to last that long,Smile

Clerics are so awesome! I dont know why people would say their a worthless class, most of the time their butt is saved from death by a Cleric.

A Healers work often gets taken for granted. They dont get that keeping OTHERS alive is just as hazardous as fighting on the front lines. I may not be a Healer, but as a Mage I appreciate how incredibly helpful they are to any party they are in: they have plenty of great buffs and many different heals to suit all needs and situations. And I bet their Mark of Despair is a fun skill to play with Razz

Clerics can do no wrong, and anyone who says otherwise needs to have opinion shoved into a very unpleasant place.

lol dest,, I LOVE U,Smile awesome reply<Smile) i have mark lvl 4, soon lvl 5. it is fun to play with,Smile don't quite know if i will keep or not yet though. good for p lvl ing on my own though,Smile does 11k or more damage at lvl 5

Nice guide

Personally, I liked sping in the jail as the mobs are closer together and it was generally a non laggy and non busy place. I don't recommend skipping it as it will add variety and keep you from long hours of sping on one type of mob. You should have at least a plus four set of armor, though as there are some fiesty critters in there. Jail is especially good if you can party with a mage around your level since they can mob while you attack and heal. Dire and two headed canines aggro, though spike dont, these are level 41, 43, 40. Beast archers, scythes, and flyers are 42, 45, and 46. These are aggro and group protective. There are also death mask lancers at 44. At level 47 move and to the death mask soldiers. Beast crawlers, 48, are magical and aren't too hard too handle for a cleric but not as easy as the other mobs. In the very bottom of the jail in the last room live the death knight , so be sure you don't get too close to him.

As for sping at high levels take a lesson from me and make sure you don't have to do so. I was 84 with maxed skills before the new skills were introduced and found myself stuck in a very big hole with they decided to release new skills. Some day i will dig Abeona out of it, but sping on demons is not a good way to obtain sp Smile. max your skills along the way always! Its true that tower mobs will give good exp but their kill rate is quite slow.

White is the lowest grade of armor

imo evasion is still the best set as its better to not get hit than to get hit softer if that makes sense ^^ Of course, I went full intelligence for the mag resistance, mana, and magical hr etc. and did not put extra stats into dex. If you went int/dex then hp set may be more desirable than if you went int.

have you compared your hits before and after encourage? I don't believe it has an affect as cleric attack is magical.

I found the mark to be less helplful when soloing, though after the patch we miss so i suppose a double hit has become ore useful. At level five it doubles whatever hit lands after the mark is casted. This means that if you are fighting with a partner, you can double their special skill with accurate timing and cooperation. So yay for double terra, poison arrow, etc. ^^

ty for the input serenity, there's definalty different ways to set up your char. i'm putting it into dex cause if they don't hit u, you won't die,Smile but it's killing faster and possibley getting hit more, versus killing slower, and not getting hit much at all. its up to the player how they set up the char. i did sp in jail some in the second beast scythe room on lvl 2 jail, it's got some more room, not so crowded, easier to kill that was at lvl 45 i think. if anyone else has info they want to add to help guide clerics along the way, feel free to add it. the more we supprot new clerics, the more we will see in the game,Smile btw, i'm lvl 76 and sp ing on azers, ill probally lock my exp and stay here for a while, get my last sp, i got lucky, i was lvl 50 something when new skills came out and kept up on them along the way.

Great guide, Savannah!

You brought together a lot of useful cleric information. May I suggest though to bring a bit more structure (e.g. chapters, bullet points) in the text? That would make it a first-class quick reference guide!!

I have some questions about the Upgrading paragraph.

I can follow up to:
  • to +12 with Chaos Smelting Stone
  • to +13 with Extreme Stone

Then you talk about Costumes, Covers, Bonus Book of Melding and Plat Refining Stone. You got me lost there. Laughing
PRS is the only way to get an item to +16.

  1. Costumes are for Armour, Covers for weapons - is that right?
  2. How do you get it from +13 to +15 to use the PRS? Do you put a BB of Melding on +13 and hope it gets to +15? Then use PRS?
  3. Is there a 'guaranteed no breaking' way to get to +15 before using the PRS?
  4. What happens after 1 month when Costume, Cover and PRS run out?
  5. Can you get another Cover, BBM and PRS and use it once more on the same item?

Thank you for the kind remarks! Being a Cleric is not only hard to get XP and SP but party healing takes a lot of concentration and hard work.

the way i plused my gear was to use hs first, till +3, than 3 lss till +6 , than i used 6 css till +12, as this point u can use es for 13, you can either cover it with a weapon cover and a +3 bonus book of melding for 16, or use a +3 prs everyday for 16. if you use a prs or bonus book of melding its a guarnteed plus. but you can't go above 16 with either.

costumes are from the item mall, they are combined with bonus books of melding. you can use +1, +2 or +3 to get a max of +16. i got a tip from a friend,, when you are using costumes for armor if you can get +16, get 16 cause you will still get the mag def and phy def bounus, but if you use a cover and bb on a wepon to get 16 you won't get the attack bonus.. so for your weapons your better off to use prs than to use a cover on them if you plan to go to 16. costumes last a month of real time. when they are done they just come off, nothing should happen to your weapon or armor. don't try to + a weapon or armor if its either covered with a cover or using a prs.

1.) costumes are for armor, covers are for weapons, yes
2.)you can get from 13 to either 15 or 16 with a prs or a costume/cover and bonus book
3.)not really, the highest you can go for a guaranteed + is till 13, using hs till +3, lss till +6, css till +12 than es till 13.
4.)after the costumes or prs is off, you will get a message saying its no longer usable or works. prs last 24 hours, costumes and covers last 1 mon.
5.) yes, you can get as many as u want mon after mon. i have 2 in my records for later.

armor and weapons can only be melded to plus 15, having a plus 3 book on plus 13 armor gives no extra affect when compared with a plus 2

prs are the only things that can provide a plus 16 affect.
