I think a good Game Sage is someone who is available to listen to any question or problem and always be willing and helpful to anyone new player to most advanced. Someone who is kind to everyone and will do anything to make the game experience fun for everyone.

A Game Sage is someone who devotes himself on helping other in need, he/she should have a nice attitude and helpful towards other people but also at the same time has a strict attitude. He/She should know what is right and wrong for him/her to discipline anyone who violates the game rules or ToS. He/She should also be willing to sacrifice his/her time for anyone who is in need.

Short Description(Short being a relative term here)

Game Sage is a term that is used to describe the individuals that work on behalf of Aeria games to maintain a Link of communication with its player base. This Description will briefly outline the characteristics that a Game Sage should, at least in my own opinion possess in order to best fulfill their role.

Communication with a player-base as large as Eden eternal firstly and fore mostly requires one key characteristic, patience. Considering the copious quantity of demographics that play the game Eden Eternal, the issue of language and personal beliefs often present themselves as barriers of entry in regards to opening a link for which effective and efficient communication can exist. As such the importance of Patience is irrefutable when it comes to being a Game Sage, not only when interacting with others but also with ones self, acting as a role model for other players.

Regardless of ones personality characteristics, ultimately if one is not knowledgeable of the game for which they are representing Aeria for as a Game Sage, their effectiveness in the position will be greatly diminished. A Game Sage should not only be an individual the average player should look up to as a role model, they should also serve as somewhat of a guide. A guide which new players can look up towards, which new players can trust in to answer questions they may have.

The most important Characteristic that a Game Sage should possess in my opinion however, is modesty. Due to the nature of being a Game Sage with the player base looking towards you to be not only a role model but also a guide, a game sage that is seen to be arrogant potentially could lead to Aeria's image and what the impression they have of what the player base deserve as a game sage could be in jeopardy. A Game Sage that is modest with oneself, projects a positive image of Aeria and what they represent to the player base.

From what I can understand and have seen in game, a Game Sage basically yells at people who use capital letters to grab attention for what seems to be "Against the ToS". Pssh, whatever that is. I imagine the game part reflecting the game itself, and the Sage part reflecting the powers of a god. If I were to become a god, I would like to be an anonymous prophet that only a few worship in promise for free coconuts and grass skirts in the afterlife (No bras for the females though as that is a waste of coconuts). I'd also like the power to strike down non-believers with a rather comical timed piano dropping on their head. This won't kill them, as they'll just pop out of the ground with stars floating around their head.

However if I have to, I suppose I'll settle for the power of banning people who use capital letters and say bad words over an internet game...

...for now.

I think what makes a good Game Sage is someone one who is serious about their duties of being a GS and helping others that will need the help with a question or even if its with a dungon or even a question about a quest that they do not understand and make sure that chats are being kept PG 13.
