Welcome to the MVP Cage Tournament Battle Thread! This is
ONLY for the participants to see their match ups and to post thier screenshots of the results, so please refrain from writing any comments.
PLEASE READ EVERYTHING ON THIS POST – I will not remind nor repeat anything that is written here. You will be responsible for understanding & following ALL of the rules, because some have been added or modified. Everything regarding the tournament will be in this post. If you have any other comments or questions that aren’t listed, then please post it

It is a
temporary group which will only last for as long as the tournament continues.

-Group will be public for now for easier joining, will later go private to reduce member spam on my end. Invites will be sent to those who haven't joined after a period.
Rules
1.) Make sure to unequip all gears & Lieutenants before entering the match.
2.) You may use any
R1 orb of your choice. Although Elixir items & Hua Tuo Journals are prohibited, all other items are free to use. Failure to follow this will result in
disqualification.
3.) Chi modded weapons can ONLY be used if the other player uses another chi modded weapon – You can make this arrangement via PM with your opponent. Otherwise they are not allowed for use in battle, Failure to follow this rule will result in
disqualification.
4.) Please include a screen shot or video of your weapon selection for
EVERY match. If you lost the battle then please reply to the winning screen shot post with your weapon screen shot. Failure to follow this procedure will result in
reduced win tallies. If you lost and still did not post your weapon selection, then your next winning tally will be reduced. Your winning tallies can be restored at any time once you update your origional post with your weapon screen shot.
5.) You must have atleast 1 spectator on each side to check for any sign of cheating: Please be quiet during the match
(unless rule #6). Any interference by a spectator will cause
disqualification of the side he/she is on. Meaning of Interferance: Hunting a player, or interrupt in-cage fighting. Remeber that the more sepctators you have the less NPCs you have the check weapons on.
6.) While the players are flasking, Spectators must check for any NPCs with a healing advance (
Ex: Deck, Trident, Nunchaku, Chakrams, Flute) if there are any on the field then both players must D/C and remake the game with the same weapons and items.
7.) Spectators are
NOT allowed to fight each other.
8.) Spectators can watch from outside or the inside lining of the cage. Any recording or screenshots of the fight is allowed and should prove as evidence in the event of foul play. Any foul play will result in immediate
disqualification.
9.) Players must flask 2 combos & 1 defense, and then move into a cage for the fight. If you accidentally overflask/ misflask then you must d/c and do a rematch with the same weapons and items.
10.) If the match ends in a draw there must be a rematch until there is a winner. You are allowed to change weapons and items.
(Except rule #6, 9, 10, 11, 12)
11.) If “
player 1” gets a kill lead and “
player 2” d/c’s before match is over, then “
player 1” is the winner. If both parties agree to do a rematch then that is allowed also. Must use same weapons and items!
12.) If “
player 1” gets a kill lead and d/c’s then there must be a follow up rematch. Must use same weapons and items!
13.) Players are not allowed to leave the cage at anytime, except for respawning and returning back to the cage.
14.) Players are prohibited from using any stat boost at any time during the cage match. (
Attack x2, Defense x2, Speed x2) Doing so will result in immediate
disqualification.
15.) Absolutely no musou is allowed at
ANY point. If there is, then the opposing player gains +1 point added to their total score. Unintentional Lt mousu doesn't count.
16.) Absolutely no healing at anytime during the cage match. Doing so will result in immediate
disqualification.
17.) After entering the cage players must
FIGHT. That means no running around, taunting and avoiding the other player after 1 kill or any time at all. Doing so will result in
disqualification. There will be spectators there so please play fair & honorable. Video proof is allowed.
18.) The
WINNING player must be responsible for taking a screenshot of the results page and posting it on the fight thread. If the winning player fails to do this, then the other player passes in their place.

Policy
If you show up for your game you will receive your money back, but if you drop out or do not show up for your game then the money will be will be added to the prizes. You will recieve your money back anytime you are eliminated.
**If you get kicked out of the tournament due to disqualification or causing unecessary trouble, you will NOT recieve your money back, and it will also contribute to the prizes.**

When to complete battles?
All matches will have a 5 day limit - Since it is 1v1, participants should be able to meet up and complete their matches faster than with 4v4.
If everyone finishes posting their screenshots before the deadline then we can advance to the next round before 5 days.
Choosing a spectator
You may choose anyone you wish as long as they are unbiased and follow the rules. You must have atleast ONE spectator for YOURSELF, if you fight your match without one then it will not be counted. If you don’t have any friends or would like an official to be there to spectate then please PM the following if they reside in your faction.

How round robin works
Everyone has been divided into 8 groups of 4 or 5 (because there are an uneven amount of people). You will fight everyone in your group 1x through rotation. After every group has finished their rotation the top 16 players with the highest win tallies (matches won) will move on, that is 2 people from each group.
Those 16 will again be randomly divided into 2 groups, listed from highest to lowest win tallies. Then they will be matched up accordingly:
1st player vs 8th player
2nd player vs 7th player
3rd player vs 6th player
and so on.
the final 16 will be playing a regular bracket round called the "ko round" - anyone who loses gets eliminated.
Out of this 1 player will be left in each group (2 groups: 1 player each). As a finale those 2 fight for the win.
Match Ups - RR Style
Players will be fighting the person to the
right or left side of eachother. In the case of a 5 person group, there will be a "Bye" in your box which is a term that stands for "free round". You must sit out until the next rotation.
If you lost then don't be worried, because this is round robin you will not be eliminated until the rotations of everyone is over and the final 16 are chosen. You will be allowed to move on to further rounds if your win tallies are higher then 3 other people in your group. If your win tallies are lower than everyone else in your group then you will be eliminated during the choosing of the final 16.
