social engineering : what a strong thing in video games, you think people are friends but sometimes they ask your "facebook" or email , and that's how they also find your password by hacking your email or facebook account (since almost all people use the same password everywhere...)
I also remember a clan here asking to register on a forum but .... there was "something" to download to have a shoutbox on the forum. and the "something" was just a keylogger..
Keyscrambler is not bad against keyloggers:
I don't know if I can share the link here :
please remove it and forgive me , if I don't have the right.
Once again, no one is "hacking" anything. For someone to hack your account they very likely have to break into the DB for the website itself which means you're not the only one getting hacked and it becomes a much bigger problem. Simply guessing someone's password isn't hacking, it's just someone having poor account security. Hacking is WAY
harder than just preying on the uninformed
If you read my message again I started with "social engineering" .
So yes you're right , maybe no one is hacking Aeria Games DB .
you're the one who know about it, I don't .
I was saying : "just don't choose the same password for all websites" ,
maybe YOU know or think that your website is "impossible" to hack ,
but what do you know about others websites?
Maybe no one can hack your wolfteam account , but maybe someone can hack your email or idk family website. and if you choosed the same password ....
that's what I said in my message.
And if you look into the meaning of "hacking" ,
you will find that "guessing someone's password" ... is hacking.
No matter what you used .
I am not the one who decided that.
Just look into the biggest hackers community (hackforums.net)
