This scheme created by me shows that MP5SD5 amounts in the report all'AKS74U Desmodus Damage - ROF, just do 31 + 74 = 36 + 69 = 105 and 105, in practice:

MP5SD5 PRO:
Damage - 31
Accuracy - 46
Stability - 50
Mobility - 75
Rof - 74

AGAINST:
Range - 20

MP5SD5 Mod PRO:
Damage - 33
Accuracy - 48
Stability - 51
Mobility - 73
Rof - 74

AGAINST:
Range - 20

I made this guide for people to understand that the MP5SD5 is stronger than Desmodus and to dissipate (think again) all those people who underestimate this weapon, by the way each weapon has its strengths and weaknesses beyond the statistics.

Desmodus has more damage per shot, far more penetration, and far more damage over range. It also has similarly low recoil and low bloom.
Desmodus is easily better than the peashooter of an MP5SD5.

If you're suggesting to use the damage trigger and the accuracy barrel, here is your setup:
MP5SD5 has 7.5 shots/second and 33 damage = 246.5 dps
Desmodus has 7.2 s/s and 36 damage = 259.2 dps

Desmodus has better DPS as long as you don't use a burst barrel on the MP5SD5.

the Burst Barrel would sacrifice the utility of the weapon that has as its strenght the ease of doing HS, however, even if like you said the Desmodus has more penetration, I feel the MP5SD5 killing before and in fact a clash MP5SD5 vs. Desmodus always win.
the same is true if my enemy armor iyan, I have no problems with penetration.

Stats are a lie

I got both weapon, Desmodus is easy to use and can beat a rifleman on mid range
But... MP5SD5 is fantastic! The DPS is decent, good mobility and good accuracy ( need to stop for half sec after 10/15 bullets or the spread goes crazy ) and don t forget the silencer! The most awesome thing on this weapon, epic ninja rush in demolition and stab all the enemies

Theres the solution...... Dont use desmodus, I bought my SD5 a while back, it tears up the DM in my opinion.
