The Gambit Gaming Network

What is this about?
Link: http://tggn.enjin.com/home

What is The Gambit Gaming Network?
Well for starters we are a network of Gamers, Clans, Guilds etc, who have joined up to play games together.

We may switch from game to game as we get bored or when we find something new we want to play and as a network it makes it easier to find other people to play those games with. So no matter what you are playing, you will not have to play it alone. (Hopefully Razz )

So I would like to invite anyone who loves to play games together, to join us and enlarge this network together!
Because no one likes playing with themselves! xD

Current Guilds/Clans/etc in The GGN:
Lockhart Legion
Passion Guild

History of The GGN
  • The Gambit Gaming Network officially started 10 years ago in the year 2002.
  • In about 3 months we grew to over 500,000 members as "Video Game Networking" sites were still quite a new thing.
  • In 2003 the host of The GGN closed their doors and with the host went all of the members and the website/forums.
  • With no way to contact all 500,000 and no backup of the data The GGN hit its first road block.
  • In 2005 The GGN was reopened on a new host and within 2 months we rose to 20,000 members.
  • However just like in 2003 (and apparently I did not learn my lesson the first time) The GGN lost its members and data due to the host being a cyber terrorism victim.
  • In 2007 The GGN reopened once again on ANOTHER new host and withing 2 months we gained 500 members.
  • From 2007 to 2012 the site has stuck at a low number and has had many little bumps with the host but stayed strong.
  • In 2012 the host corrupted the data of The GGN.
  • In 2012 The GGN moved to Enjin forums.

Solo Gamer vs Group Gamers
The GGN accepts both players that are not a part of any group and just wish to find people to game with as well as pre-constructed groups that are looking to reach out and expand their horizons.

Please Note: If you are a Group of Gamers then you may be interested in the Affiliate Section below.

Affiliates
Are you the leader of a Guild/Clan/etc and;
  • Wish to find more members for the game you are playing
  • Like the idea of making alliances with other guilds
  • Like to try new games every so often but never have anyone to play them with
  • Want to make friends with other great gamers

If you answered yes to any of the above then you may want to consider requesting to become an affiliate of The GGN.

To do so, please send "Aka Gambit" a message on http://tggn.enjin.com/home with the topic "Affiliate Request".

The preferred method of a request would follow the template below;
(You do not HAVE to follow this template but it makes things easier)
Code:

Group Type: (EG Guild/clan/etc)
Group Name: (The name of your clan/guild/etc)
Game(s): (What game(s) does you group play)
Leader: (The Leader's in game/forum name that will be used)
Ref: (Where you found the link here, eg Aeria, etc)
Why: (Why you want to join as an affiliate. Keep it simple and short.)

Final Notes
As I am sure I will see lots of this here;
For all the trolls/flamers etc that will come in here and do their thing, you will be ignored.
I will not waste time on your foolish games, so do not waste yours.
So if you are hoping to stir up trouble, go ahead and try if you must to complete your day but it will be outright ignored.

And with that, have a great day everyone and thank you for taking the time to read this. ^_^

I am not entirely sure that this is appropriate for posting in the Aeria Realm, or other gaming communities realm.

Although there are no games offered, and it is just a forum board, so it appears, it would still be in competition with the Aeria Games Community.

Also, we cannot condone registering on Non-Mainstream, Non-Official, Non-Aeria Related forum boards as the admins of those boards have the ability to see the IP addresses of its registrants.

Also,

I'm going to have to pass this to a GM for review
