I have been reading some of these applications but nowhere are there any questions to gauge the applicant's personality or creativity through their responses. I am also curious why the old questions were abolished. The new system makes it very hard for the community to give input because there are no merits to judge an applicant's qualifications through their responses.
Lastly, I think that the old questions were flawed as well. Some good open ended job interview questions include:
Describe an in game situation where you demonstrated leadership or teamwork. What was the outcome and did you encounter and/or overcome any challenges along the way?

Questions like these demonstrate an applicant's logic and creativity. Although these questions work better in a face to face setting with restrictions, I believe they are a step up from the current and previous questions and would provide the staff and the community something to base their feedback on.

Word limit?

Please hold off re any new GS for Hatz until after the merge. As we are merging with C we will be swamped with GSs.

Anyway Sue may be an all server GS but this just means she can go help on other servers when needed. Hatz is her home and she is always active and equals 3 (at least) normal GSs anyway. So allowing for that we have including beloved 4 currently Once the merge is in place we will have many more.

I would rather have fewer GSs than bad GSs just to make up the numbers. Quality all the way

So it would be practical to hold off a bit until after the merge and then to reassess in my opinion.

As for the new system here I at this stage reserve judgement.

I want to support Roma !

I think she could be a great GS for some reasons :

She is playing lastchaos since it started on aeria i believe > she knows how was the old lastchaos wich help her to say "there is 2 years ago we were maybe able to do that but now we can ..." (if you see what i mean lol)

She tried to play all the class possible except maybe nightshadow i dont know so if someone needs some advice she is certainly able to help

She is cleric and a very little ap buyer so she knows how hard is the game for pvp and pve for some players > if the GM ask some advice for a new content she will be able to say "NO! OR ...Dont forget ...Because ... !"

She is often in game so if someone needs help its possible to whisper her and ask what we need

She did some event with some gift even if she is not really rich in gold > she knows what mean the word "share" and thats a good things

She is motivate when she does something, like jinar for a cleric, its really annoying but she did it !

She is often in the sb/forum to help some people...

I want to support Helmer too!
I dont really know him but i agree with what he says on the forum almost everytime and i think he is more a gamer than a little person who log on lastchaos and cry about everything...And i think a player who get banned sometimes for pk is a good players because at least him really plays the game
I think he could help the GM to make lastchaos a better game...
But as i said i dont know him in game so maybe if he become GM he will doesnt help a lot, i dont know ...

Although I am usually not one to go off saying why someone should not be a GS, I do have a concern with not being able to "protest" an application. There are cases where other players know of....a personality flaw that might prevent a person from performing the job well they are applying for well. I do understand that in the past this has become a circus but, I still think(which admittedly does not mean much) people should be able to voice a concern if there is one.

the community should not "gauge" an applicants "personality" based on their answering of questions or writing styles. As far as you guys go, you should be giving your opinion based on whom you know and your experiences with that person. The GM's generally make those type of reviews concerning personality based on common application response types, they have to because they don't play with the community on a day by day basis and certainly can't get to know each person. But we can , and generally are. But that's just how I see things.

Also -- Surestrike -- you can submit negative reviews about an applicant via Contact Us, Game Support, subject line "Attn Peechu - GS Liason - Applicant Review" .......I believe that should suffice : )

(btw GM on Gamigo is like GS on aeria but they are a bit useless...)

well im sorry, but seriously... its so weird to read this > im like Wtf is happenning on this GS application, if he really was GM from this version he should know that the first rule for a GM is "Never tell to someone you were / are / will be a GM or ..."

well, i will send rt because this is really weird... + i know this player as a player who melded an helm 172 to level with a rapidefire weap, a GS must follow the rules because the others players could say "if a gs cheat, can i too?"

may be, even though the GS application process is ongoing, this might take sometime before they decide to have one. but at least they already have options of who to get as the situation calls it. i just hope it will run smoothly and deserving applicant(s) get the title
