Hmm to be honest EE's job system is far inferior to other games Aeria has hosted in the past, LO is rumoured to have branching classes like Grand Fantasia does, that's lasted a while, and you can be a trading job and a combat job ...and *cough* alts.

DoMO will always have the best class system on Aeria.

DoMO did have a pretty cool class system, kinda reminds of Divina's class system, although you had to go back to town and change it... EE was an on the fly thing, either way both allowed for multi-classing, and my preference is single classing and make alternate characters.
Or using the PSO2 system or Wizardy system, having a soul name/arks card, so everyone can add you to friend/guild, but your characters can be named whatever, that way you can make multiple characters under one soul/ark easily.

I prefer Lime's single battle and life class system over EE and DoMO though.

I agree. Lets just hope the classes feel different enough...they surely did in the alpha.

What were the classes like in Alpha? What was imbalanced about them?

Much of what I remember is that the Defense stat did almost nothing unless it was insanely high, auto-attacks did like 4 damage no matter what weapon it was, and that healing tree clerics could barely do anything without another person helping them.

I make no Rupaulogies.

Sounds bout right. I tried thief (hated it...but was told it was better in alpha2) but loved dark mage and elemental mage Smile

So, at least in alphas, the magic classes seemed like the best?

Tbh it all balanced out at 30+, but no one liked the inbalances in early levels so thats all probably changed, Cleric was OP at one point too
