Upgrading equipments

Hello,

Just a few questions:

- When you fortify equipments to +10, when do you guys usually use HSS & SSS?

- Also for enchantments, there's those 'regular enchants' (e.g. Muscle Explosion, ect..) and equipment-specific enchants (e.g. 2H Weapon enchant - instant spell). Can I activate both enchants on the same piece of equipment?

- Where can you find lv 70 eternal chisels?

- Can I make money by crafting & selling lv7 enchants / lv3 gems? (How good is that 80%/83% success rate?)

- What do you guys think of the new gold/yellow gems (i think they are new...)?

Thanks!

To answer your questions:

-When I fortify my gear to +10, I usually use regular safety stones 'til +7, then use two Halycons... if that doesn't (To get to atleast +8 ), once it gets to +8 I just Sublime it to +10.

-Nope, you can't have more than one Enhancement on a weapon.

-Level 70 chisels are obtained from the crystal altar/people may be selling them.

-You can make money by crafting those Enhancements/Level 3 gems. Although it's quite risky, some of my friends have failed on them and got... quite.... furious e.e.

-I haven't seen the new gold gems in action, but yes, they're new to EE.... and may provide some use in the future.

You can make money off selling Enchants/Gems but it's not guaranteed. You have to gauge if the community is going over a frenzy trying to find a decently priced one. If barely anyone wants it, you would have wasted money crafting them and would have to wait a while before it can be sold.

A few of the Partial Enchants sell for a very nice price too. If you happen to have those, either I or II Enchants, I would make it if you know players are looking for it. It's a risk since it's 80/83% and using your Level 6/7 Enchant but it could get you more gold if you succeed and sell it.

A lot of them are horrible compared to Racial Gems. The only one that's good is probably the Agi/Lck gem. If I remember correctly, the Agi/Lck gem can match the Agi Plus 3 gem. A little more Lck to help with your Accuracy/Crit Rate while still maintaining the Agility stat.

Since fortifying fame equipment tends to be quite expensive per fortification, would it be better to use HSS/SSS earlier?

And which bosses/dungeons have a better chance at netting a npc that gives supreme inlay merchants?

Even if it's Fame item, I would still say up to +7 before you starting using HSS/SSS. Upgrading armor has a higher success rate than a weapon of the same upgrade value. It's not that much of an increase but still decent enough.

Most players only go to +6 on their Fame item. The +8/10 is usually if they're really funded and don't care about the bonus upgrade that much.

On armours i'd go +7 on SS and +6 on weapons then switch to 100% stones.

Why? I dont trust aeira's %ages enough to gamble on 50% stone. Why? now had 23 fails on a lvl 40 katans (51% success rate). Think of tossing a coin. What are the odds of throwing 23 tails in a row? Better chance of winning the lotterry I'd guess.

As for the yellow enchants, if you chasing achievements you honna want craft one of each, otherwise many of them are just trash. I mean, who wants 100hp enchant? Generally, the blessing hand enchant, healing weapon enchant, move spd leg enhant, phys resist ring enchants and malice head enchants usually sell really well.

Also, if you want decent bonus stats, be prepared to shell out much more gold. Crit rate sel for sammy with oooooh...4 int and one wis bonus. LAAAAAME. About time aeria stoped using this system to milk players and at least made the possible bonuses on a set be of some legit value to the classes likely to be using them. Keep it random, but put a weighting on them so your more likely to get something worthwhile. e.g. heavy armour. Only templar has magic skills. so int has lower weighting than str agi, wis and luck. Not gonna happen anytime, but still a nice dream lol.
