Except you have no idea how often I get a ticket along the lines of "my brother stole my account after I gave him the information and deleted all of my stuff!"

Either way, it doesn't matter if you can trust the people you're sharing an account with, it's still a violation of the Terms of Service and a bannable offense. Read more here: http://www.aeriagames.com/policy/terms

Also, regarding you reporting players and us responding that we cannot see the names clearly: if we can't see the names, then we cannot use it as effective evidence to keep a player banned. When you take a screenshot or a video, it must be of a resolution that clearly displays the accused's callsign or we can literally do nothing (as all evidence must be 100% conclusive).

I've been seeing an increase of reports from players saying that they gave their account info to someone saying they would give them Free AP. I would like to take this time to remind you all of a few things that should honestly be common sense by now...

1) If you share your account with ANYONE (and I mean anyone. Your brother, sister, mom, dad, some random stranger or a friend you've known for 40 years) your account can and will be banned! Account sharing is and always has been a bannable offense and we don't show any lenience on this. If you share your account with someone, we will find out and we will permanently ban your account!

2) Aeria Games does not need your password to access or make changes to your account. Anyone claiming to be an Aeria Games employee that asks for your password is lying to you and is only trying to steal your account! If this happens, take a screenshot and send in a report here: http://www.aeriagames.com/contact/support



3) Anyone saying that they are giving you "Free AP" is just trying to steal your account. There are literally 2 ways to get AP: By buying AP here https://billing.aeriagames.com/ OR by visiting our sponsors and participating in the promotions here http://www.aeriagames.com/offers. We do sometimes offer AP through other means (such as promotions on the website or through in-game Tournaments) but in these cases, an Aeria Games employee will ALWAYS be present and it will usually require a bit of work to get. My Lawyer said that ToS is Not Law o.O, is that true ?  

I don't have any brothers/sisters [SOMETIMES i wish i had] but not sharing account with your brother is so mean.
