[Guide] Guild Progression

Ways To Earn Guild Contribution/Progress Points, Honor, Badges, etc
All content written up by astral & swirolss. A special thanks goes out to her for all her help!

To Do:
1. Add Savage/Slayer equipment sets and prices
2. Add Nobility rankings, required points, and rewards

All these options upon options can be quite overwhelming for the new player, so I will explain them in simple details so that you may grasp the concept of what the Guild Management Officer does. This is a NPC you will probably visit most often. I have broken down the sections of the GMO point-by-point, so if there is anything you don't understand when you speak to the GMO, or you're simply new and want to grasp the basics of 'guilding' as I call it, this guide should answer all your questions. If anything is not answered or you are confused or have a question on this subject, please don't hesitate to reply and someone will respond to your reply when they can. Without further a due... the Guild Management Officer-

Guild Management Officer (Starglade) [X:61 Y:43]

  2. Guild Daily Quests
  3. Enter the Guild Resource Battleground
  4. Guild Benefits
  5. Guild Contribution
  6. Enter Champion's Bluff
  7. Champion's Bluff Crop Turn-In
  8. Crystal Quarry Rewards
  9. Reset Guild Skills

1. View Guild List
This is as simple as it reads. This will display a list of all the guilds currently available on the server.

2. Guild Daily Quests
Daily Quests (also referred to as DQ(s)) are a fantastic way to contribute to your guild. These are various quests you are sent on in which you complete an objective and turn-in back to the GMO. Some of these quests include:

  • Guild Labor - These quests are my favorite to do, and for a good reason. You will be sent to a certain location to collect 5 of a certain item. You collect it by simply clicking on it. Your character will move next to it and a progress bar will display. Once it's finished, that item is yours. If you so choose, you can collect 30 of these items total and turn them in all at once (5 items * 6 attempts).
Ex: Go to Himeng Valley and collect 5 Phantasy Flower, then report to the Guild Management Officer.

  • Guild Tuning - These quests will most likely send you to one of the dungeons to kill mobs, so it's best to do this quest if 1) you can solo the dungeon and are going to anyway, or 2) will be doing the dungeon with a party. There is really no reason to waste a dungeon attempt to kill mobs and then leave.
Ex: Enter Blood Coliseum (Difficult) and kill 5 Demonic Warrior and 5 Human Sacrificers, then report to the Guild Management Officer.

  • Guild Crisis Management - These quests send you to a certain location where you will kill various mobs.
Ex: Kill 20 Palace Slaves and Demented Shamans, then report to the Guild Management Officer.

  • Guild Building - Kill certain mobs and collect (usually) 5 Resources and report back to the GMO. The GMO will tell you where to go, what to kill, and what to resources to collect.
Ex: Defeat Palace Slave and obtain Guild Building Resource (L45), then report to the Guild Management Officer.

  • Clue Hunt - Kill certain mobs and collect (usually) 5 Resources and report back to the GMO. The GMO will tell you where to go, what to kill, and what to resources to collect.
Ex: Enter Revenant's Vault (Normal) and kill Undead Escapees to collect Guild Treasure Expander Resource (L30 Normal), then report to the Guild Management Officer.

3. Enter the Guild Resource Battleground
The GRB is a fun event where you run around collecting various items to turn in to the GMO (upon completion). This can be a solo event, but it works a lot better if you go with a party or with your guild (TIP: create a party with your guild/friends so that your dots are green, not blue). This is probably one of the best events for getting points/honor/badges that Crystal Saga has to offer. This event should be done daily.

Requirements:

  • You are in a guild. Server time is 9:00, 16:00 or 20:00.
  • Player must be level 20+

Harvest the following:

  • Winter Grass x20
  • Tripicolo Fruit Egg x16
  • Black Rice x6
  • Purple Crystaloid x2

REMINDERS:

  • People can kill you inside the battlegrounds.
  • If you die, there's a chance you will drop your harvests.
  • You can go in and out the Guild Resource Battlegrounds. As long as you are not done with the harvest quest.
  • You can put your harvest items in the storage.

Labor Rewards:

  • 12 Bronze Badges
  • 250 Honor Points
  • 10 Guild Contribution Points
  • 10 Guild Progress Points

**Additional note: You can take the quest once per day.

4. Guild Benefits
Exchange your contribution points for extremely valuable items! Use the Contribution Pack and you might be lucky enough to receive a [Wheel of Fate] or a [Pet Skills Book].

  • Exchange for Contribution Pack (30 CP) (1/1) Attempts
  • Exchange for Teeka Egg (60 CP) (1/1) Attempts
  • Exchange for Vault Expander (100 CP) (1/1) Attempts
  • Exchange for Pet Skills Expander (150 CP) (1/1) Attempts

5. Guild Contribution
Contributes 1 gold to increase guild reserves by 1 copper and be awarded with 2 Guild Contribution Points.

Help you guild win the land grab battle. This not only gives control to when the server wide 2x exp is activated but also give your guild master a chance to use guild funds to spawn a nimbus crystal in the champion bluff (a 15 min torch).
7. Champion's Bluff Crop Turn-In
Guild crops can be obtained from the Champion's Bluff farmland. Winners of the Guild Showdown event are eligible to plant crops daily on this farm for one week after their victory.
Crops may be turned in to receive:

  • Guild Reserves: +10
  • Guild Progress: +5
  • Guild Contribution: +2

8. Crystal Quarry Rewards
Rewards for occupying the crystal quarry can be obtained here. Only the Guild Master or Assistant Guild Master may claim these rewards. For each hour the quarry remains in your guild's possession, you are eligible to receive 2 guild progress points and 5 copper contributed to your guild's reserves.

9. Reset Guild Skills
This option does what it says. It resets your guilds skills.
