So I recently started doing the solo Veninfang runs for exp/gold/all that stuff but a problem that keeps occurring is when I cast the skill Oil Bomb at the mobs my character always seems to lag and freeze. I just stand there for a second or so and then I am dead.

Does anyone know way I can stop my character from doing that and why it is happening?

When using an aoe skill like oil bomb, depending on your connection to the server, you will get lag like that while your client waits until the server has registered all the hits you've made.

You could try hitting closer to the front of the mob of monsters following you, which would result in less lag because you'd be hitting less monsters. And turn your graphics right down, too.
