Why we need SF to NOT be region locked

When USF, as many have grown to call it, first started there was no such thibg as PSF or LSF or a few other versions. The only versions out for non korean citizens or chinese citizens was USF, Universal Soldier Front, as i see it. We need to stop whining and crying about the Lag, if i ranked up with no problem playing with people 300+ ping more than me, then so can you. The focus is to have more players come play with us not discrimate and lose players. If all these later developed versions wouldn't have been made we would still have the dangerzone days where up to 10k players would be on at once and the servers were so full you had to wait to play. To Aeria I say consider a merger between all the other SF's that ijji locked, consider uniting all players so that the servers are again filled. To the players of SF i say if more players come play with us we won't have to worry about hackers and slow updates, if Aeria sees a growth in interest for SF they'll invest in our interests so that we can have fun.

I get what you're saying.. but honestly, who's going to really put up with the 500 pingers in every single game. Even if we've dealt with it before in 2007-08, players have changed. They tend to be a lot more, how would you say, ragey?

His response to the 'region blocking' was basically: 'we will remove the region blocking when it is possible for us to do so', as noted with the "Aeria Games is generally against this type of blocking".
There was basically no need for your to create a thread about an issue that is already being contemplated by Aeria Games' Game Masters. The issue is 'leaning towards' the un-blocking of regions currently blocked by ijji, but, of course, nothing has been confirmed regarding this situation.

You know that if the game region blocked us instead of you and we were sitting her complaining, you would be supporting the region block. SF has great capabilities of being a great game again and as it may suck for you, ruining the game for us to make you happier isn't worth it in my eyes.

Sorry friend, region locking IS happening. Because SF was not ment to be played with people "teleporting" from spot to spot because they have 500 ping. Or people you shoot die 15 seconds later and manage to kill 2 more people when they are suppose to be dead. having high ping is basically an exploit to people with "normal" ping. I really hope they region lock most areas, if not that, have separate servers, where people from those said regions can play on.

Could you link me to the post where there is confirmation on a region 'lock'?

Too bad SF is different from other games and it does not have a "lagger prevention" system like how some of the newer games do.

It doesn't even have the option to ping limit the rooms.

Either add lag prevention system(s) or ip block regions.

To me, and many other players, laggers are just as bad as hackers.

Isn't it easier just to make a server for the laggers?
At least that way everyone would live happily ever after and not be at each others throat.
